Correct me if im wrong, but your fellow poster said they had 3 top ranked players in the country along with 5-7 kids with offers from other big name schools....?? Another poster said they were alot better than laussane... this year?? I dont have a dog in the fight but i can only offer my opinion based off of what i know, an i know that mayfield, with No d-1 talent, would handle highlands pretty easy.. they are down an have been for several years now... so i could only figure catholic wouldnt even let it be close.. either tenn ball is down this year or this was a terrible game for them... no one in ky thought this game would be as close either.. i know what its like to have a bad game , we played one on fri night too... better to get them outta ur system now than to wait until Nov.. good teams find a way to win..

Ouch.... thought yall said this kc team was good listing all these big time players.... highlands beathing them with under 4 min to go in game... highlands really isnt that good.. they are just a avg team they stopped being a power 4 or 5 yrs ago.. talent level just dropped off

How good is kc compared to laussane.. ? Highlands has been down for several years now.. they are ranked 5th in 5a ... from what i see should be a pretty comfortable game for kc..

No, no .. i understood ya.. i was just saying... it did hurt them as it would anyone most of the time bc we capitalized on them.. but it wasnt like they were just dropping the ball for us to take or throwing it right to us.. i agree this game helps both teams get better...i hope it continues....

Usally they do a better job with our highlights... I think enrollment is around 460, 220 male.. our numbers have risen slightley over the past few years.. in early 2000's my graduating class had 71 kids in it.. Hard arguing turnovers.. several were caused.. all but one fumble think it was bobbled by qb on a pitch , but the rest were hard hits.. the interceptions one was a poorly thrown ball that mighta been caused with pressure the other was just good coverage on mayfield.. Laussane is still a good team an honestly prob the best we will play all year.. if we woulda kept all starters in it prob coulda been a lot worse.. i hate when coach Morris does that.. makes the game look closer but thats what give younger kids experience.. trust me we are going to need it come next year.. we loose everything.. but it will still be a good game .. Oh an to the fella that was blabbin about d-1 .. i cant remember the last time we had a d1 kid.. lol.. just a bunch of avg kids that push 110%..

Haha... right... i would had loved to of played last year... woulda been fun... we had our hands tied with uc agreement.. rest assured it wasnt bc we thought lynx was better.. they got us now.. next year we will be as down as we have been in ten years.. an i say we still leave Memphis on our horse!.. lynx was still loaded with this year watch what they do the rest of the year then when year is over they will realize how good we really were an that they werent really down..only riding the excuse train

Laussane deff played the part with their duel threat qb.. man what a line.. impressed an nothing to hang their head about.. they are good.. this Mayfield team is just special.. full of talent an good to see a undersize line dominate.. looked like 8th grade vs college team... smh... short passes ate lynx up allowing the running game to pound.. was 38-7 in the 4th when mayfield stepped off the peddle .. game coulda gotten outta hand but mayfield opted not to risk injury... laussane will be a tough out for anyone .. curious to see how they due the rest of the season... good luck lynx an safe travels... 1 to ten id give them a solid 7-8...
