Pretty sure GB is in at 4 Seed and OS is out.

Oh well if that’s the case best of luck to GB. Sucks that OS misses out despite beating 2 and 3 in the division. They genuinely played their hearts out the past few games.

OS went 3-5 and GB went 3-6. GB played an extra game.

They did have to forfeit 2 Covid games against winning teams. I wonder if the fact that GB played one extra game factors in?

Yeah Covid makes it super weird.

Yeah if it goes down to games against +500 teams OS loses out. We had Gordonsville on the schedule but had to forfeit due to Covid.

It So forfeiting Covid games seems like it might cost OS a spot, which genuinely sucks.

If it is most wins against .500+ teams OS would get it.

Don’t really think that the thread is super dead because OS stands no chance or whatever. I think it’s simply the fact that we know the position we’re in. OS is the underdogs by a decent margin. All they can do is go in and play the best darn game of football they can play and hope that’s enough. Driving home the point that GB is favorites doesn’t really do much. Yep, OS has a tall hill to climb. However, if they want to become a championship team and make it to the finish line, they gotta figure out how to slay Goliath. I wish both teams the best, and go Bobcats!

I actually remember playing against 66, both in my Junior and Senior years, went against him a few times on defense I believe. Greenback always was a formidable foe, and that hasn’t changed. No matter the outcome, just hoping for a clean, well-fought game with no injuries.

That’s fair. GB is obviously a very good team. Would love to see the upset, but I’m skeptical. I’m hoping for a good game from two good teams

Yeah, last time we made it this far, we made it to the Semifinals in 2011. We got absolutely obliterated, Friendship Christian was way above the pay grade for 2A at that time. That being said, looking forward to this game coming up! Greenback always has seemed to have our number, even back when I played (I remember a 59-0 drubbing we took my Senior Year in 2012 lol), but one thing I will always give OS is that they have fight in them. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it be a bit close towards the end. That being said, I’m gonna predict: GB 35 OS 16
