Moral victories mean nothing!!!MCKENZIE left Lynchburg in tears & one point or not one team still playing & the other putting up Christmas trees!!!kmsl!!!!!
I wasn't chalking it up as a moral victory. We aren't Vanderbilt. I'm just saying no one can argue that the two teams weren't evenly matched as the score indicated this.

superman contained by his kryptonite (Mckenzie)
Interceptions! Especially the one before the half.
BUT before some pile on me... the kid was a trooper and brought it every game. MC doesn't make it to tonight without him. Talented kid who hopefully can play some DB or WR at a small college.

Hate if for the senior kids on Moore County but I have waited all year to say this I told you so!!! Can't play powderpuff teams all year and expect to win big games.
While I can't argue your point, McKenzie didn't play a stacked schedule either, and I can't think you can say McKenzie was ten times better than Moore. It was one point. Two good teams that battled it out.

Afraiders get thanksgiving off for a great season. Congrats. Come out west and watch some Real football next week
I'll definitely be tuning in. You can't beat high school football this time of year regardless of who is playing. (I may be in the minority. lol)

That was a great game to tonight sir. I know you are proud of your Raiders.
I am proud of the effort. Hate all the turnovers. Can't do that against good teams and expect to win. Thought Comer coached amazingly except I was surprised he threw the ball on 3rd down after MC was out of time outs. The incompletion stopped the clock. Other than that, it was pretty much a masterpiece.

Next week will be a good one. Rebel revenge is coming.

No doubt but let's not think Scott is elite is all I'm saying.

I am in Tullahoma, Scott Shasteen and Ken Keller do a great job. And our games with Nolensville and Page are on NFHS network or on Lighttubbe youtube page. Thanks for assuming i am in Moore Co.

Just when I thought we were on the same page. Shasteen is just as bias as any but that's what high school football is all about.

The real story was Raider turnovers. You can't do that against good teams.

Neutral observer. Not great officiating in this game, Moore Co got the short straw on several calls and spots.
As a MC fan, McKenzie got hosed on a spot or two AND a missed facemask. Refs aren't perfect by no means.

Great game! Good luck to McKenzie against Dresden.

No, no. The younger one is, well, being an azz. Every penalty against MC is questionable in his view. When a McKenzie player got hurt soon after the interception just before halftime it shaved 10 seconds off the clock and he actually call that "CHEAP". I mean, there was not much time on the clock. There would be no motivation to do something like that on purpose. I'm watching on NFHS. Going to different games. But, why should I have to hear Moore County announcers on NFHS? So, I muted that punk.
NFHS needs to always have neutral folks calling the game since they are charging people.

Homer Moore County announcers hard to listen to.
Try the radio feed.

Good news! It does look like the weather has pushed on out of the area. Just a quick shower and gone.

Just a heads up. Don’t know if you can get info to the powers that be but whoever set up the NFHS game has McKenzie, AL as the opponent and not McKenzie, TN
Thanks. I have no ties to NFHS but a mistake there doesn't surprise me. I was just trying to give the McK radio guys a plug.

I appreciate the compliment. Come over and say, "Hi" on Friday. Actually, I invite all T posters to come say hello. I enjoy putting a face with a "made up" name. LOL.
Forgot to mention...
Moore Co no longer has a radio feed. They only participate in the NFHS site. Some folks in the area that may not be able to venture out due to temp/weather or work may appreciate you posting a link to your broadcast before game time. Appreciate it!

Weather was just 1/2 the issue, St. Benedict literally watered the field prior to the monsoon it was a literal hog pen! Don't expect those conditions Fri Night!
True. I've never seen a field prior to nor after that lacked one blade of grass as that one did. If I recall correctly they went on to face S Pitt and got hammered so karma got em. I can guarantee it could rain 40 days and 40 nights and the field in Lynchburg wouldn't be that bad lol

I may come over to the enemy side. Don't tell the others. Haha
In all seriousness, definitely respect what McKenzie has built. Can't wait to see what unfolds on Friday.

True, but give me the team with 2 1,000 yard rushers and a dominate front 7 ALL DAY!
I'm not sure how old you are but a similar situation happened to a favored Moore Co squad in the semifinals in 96. The elements slowed down a dominate line and 3 power backs. Lost 7-6 to St. Benedict. The weather can be a cruel mistress. Hopefully we see a clean game and it doesn't get sloppy.

Tell me about it! I am trying to figure out how to keep radio equipment dry.
I've done radio in the past and it's tough when you aren't in the booth. I tuned in for one of y'all's games last year. You do a great job. Good luck if this 70% chance of rain shows up. That equipment isn't cheap!

Be careful what you wish for. Rain can make a well oiled machine look like a rust bucket.
