  1. Shelbyville definitely the cream of the crop
  2. 47 yd FG attempt on 4th and 1 is no good Score remains 27-14 Tullahoma
  3. Yeah I thought the field goal would really put Columbia in panic mode. Tullahoma just needs to keep taking advantage of Columbia's miscues.
  4. Wow! Special teams the difference in this one. Columbia can't get a decent punt off.
  5. Where has this Tullahoma offense been all season?
  6. Yeah I asked someone about that play. They said he had come out for a quick breather but man that's gutsy to have someone come off the bench cold and throw a 30 yd TD pass. The future may not be as gloomy without White as some may think.
  7. I would like to think they would BUT it would be grueling to face the depth/numbers of all the 5A schools week in and week out. If MC could stay healthy through it, it would be fun to watch.
  8. How bout them TulCats? Doing their best to overcome their coaching. 13-6 lead
  9. Coaching Malpractice Your honor, I would like to enter into evidence exhibit A.
  10. It's sad that some will. Good luck to both teams tonight!
  11. Any reason to believe they would come out flat for the biggest game of the year?
  12. We don't discuss Spring Hill much on here but wanted to congratulate those kids. Not only did they beat Lawson but also have a win over Maplewood.
  13. They have the size and speed advantage over the TulCats as mentioned previously. This one is probably not going to be pretty. I don't see Tullahoma's d-line stopping their big guys up front for 4 quarters. Just hoping to see Tullahoma still in it by half. The game plan needs to be ball control and shortening the game. Unfortunately Tullahoma's offense is not built that way. Maybe Columbia will have a bunch of turnovers.
  14. Haha true Just glad the series didn't end with the Tigers moving up to 2A. Next year's game will be a different story so just trying to enjoy this year.
  15. Yes we'll all be pulling for the TulCats but it'll be a heck of a game plan to beat them. With Shelbyville averaging so many points, Tullahoma would need to keep their O off the field with some major ball control drives themselves in order to shorten the game. They must limit mistakes, cut out dumb penalties, control the ball, and win the turnover battle. Sounds simple, right? Or more like General Neyland's maxims.
  16. He is. He's a great man no doubt but I wish in a way he would have completely rode off into the sunset after winning the state title. I feel there's a BIG shadow hanging over the program with him as AD and as many have said on here, his shoes are big ones to fill. I can only imagine coaching on the sideline and a big mistake happens only to look down the way and see Olive is standing there. Like I said, he's a great man. He has great qualities and good character but I think the pressure he brings (He may be unaware.) is just unsurmountable. I'm sure the current coaching staff has some great fellas now but a fresh start or turning of the page may have been best or may still be the best option moving forward. I'm still hoping all that are involved can overcome it but expectations (at least early in the yr) were unobtainable putting them behind the eight ball from the onset.
  17. I believe Tullahoma has plenty of talent and plenty of kids playing. I think their talents are under developed and under utilized. They need to play more to their strengths. Now before you go and ask what are they it's pretty simple to see if you've been to a couple of games. Shasteen, who sees ALL their games, has even touched on it through posts and broadcasts. This team could be better than what they are showing. As fans all we can hope for is improvement from game to game because we aren't coaching nor playing. Hope springs eternal.
