  1. Why not? Rotary gives you a good measuring stick.
  2. Wow...that's a close one. The majority of those are toss ups I think. Parks over Ismail Crist over Nelson Henry over Hatcher Schlabach over whoever (4 or 5, Schlabach is good I wouldn't be surprised to see him play top three) Harris over Webb 5, but that all depends on which Harris shows up...Alex Harris I'm assuming? What about McLemore? I thought he played for McCallie as well
  3. do you still play for webb? McCallie is also pretty strong...you might want to watch out for them.
  4. oh yeah your right...duh lol What is McCallie's lineup and I'll tell you who makes it
  5. This upcoming weekend. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  6. It will be good to see you there. We saw Science Hill there last year I believe as well. Tennessee High was also there. I'm not sure I remember seeing Bearden, I hope they are there this year though. Will Webb be playing in A?
  7. Our lineup is different, I think. Wishing is pretty solid at the one spot. Playing someone close in practice is different, though. The inferior player has nothing to lose and tends to play better against someone that is better than them. Our 2, 3, and 4 players are all around the same level, though. All can beat each other on a given day. I'm not surprised that Mackabee split, I'm sure he was hitting out on the ball and playing with no pressure. Most people do well under those types of situations.
  8. I thought it would be Webb and MBA
  9. How good are Webb's 4 and 5 compared to Hatcher, Crist, etc? The only time I have seen Webb is at the Carter tournament when we finished 2nd to Webb. I don't really remember much from then
  10. I agree. I've said it all along, Tennessee High is not as good as TN thinks they are. They are solid but nothing more. I see us beating them 7-0, maybe 6-1 when we play them in May. Bearden and Science Hill are both very good and will challenge each other for the state spot. Whoever comes out of that region will be probably one of the favorites to win the title. In MY OPINION, Siegel is the other favorite. Some may have differing opinions. I think Bearden/Science Hill and Siegel will play in the finals, it will be a heck of a match. As far as all this stuff with Webb goes, arguing does no good because we don't play each other this season. We will never even find out. Who will all be at the Rotary this next weekend? Will Bearden and Science Hill be there? Webb will be I'm sure but they will be in the A division and we are in B.
  11. Did Science Hill only lose Timmy Cooper? I thought Drew Kerr was a senior as well. DB is not quite there yet. Don't see them coming out of that region. I still think it will be Bearden or Science Hill.
  12. You could argue with a plastic Suzie blow up doll. You know for a fact that the tri-match has nothing to do with anything. That was OVER a year ago. How does that have any relevance now? What excuse have we used that you referred to in that last post? Have I ever once said that we would beat you? No, I haven't. Go back and read every single post. I have stated that I believe we could win a match or two against you and you take it as a personal attack against your beloved tennis team. The Tri-match last year is over, it has nothing to do with now, we are a completely different team than we were then. This argument is over. Have I ever said anything about Webb at the tri-match last year? No, I haven't. Please find something else to argue about because nothing can come out of this argument. It is simply pointless and a waste of my time. Webb will sweep Dobyns-Bennett by the way. The only match I see being close is maybe Crist/Maloy at the two spot. All of the others should be lop sided in Webb's favor.
  13. I didn't know we were from california...and I don't know exactly why you want me to like it either /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  14. I actually thought it was pretty funny myself /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> At least I can be good at something? And you know how much about me? That's what I thought. You know nothing about me. But nice try "bro"
  15. lol are you taylor's boyfriend? Him being a senior doesnt matter here. Briggs plays plenty of tournaments to have just as much experience as Taylor. Not really sure who would win that match, I was very impressed by Briggs when I watched him. Taylor is very good too. Would be a good matchup
  16. That's a good guess... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Is that all you have to say about this? All of that talk earlier and that's all you have to say? I simply brought up the fact that our player wooped Mackebee to dispute you saying none of our top four could hang with your superior DII prowess at Knoxville-Webb. Maybe you should rethink it a little bit. Maybe the top AAA teams aren't so terrible after all. I'd still rather be in AAA winning championships than in the elite DII losing in regions /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  17. DEFINITELY sad that. Maybe not word for word, but in essence, you called titlebound a stuck up Siegel player. We hate Webb because you guys talk so much crap on here. I say we could win a match or two against you and you blow it out of proportion and get all defensive, like it hurts your feelings or something. So there is a little bias toward Bearden after all. Wow, I'm so surprised. And Webb doesn't hate Siegel right back? Really, even if I didn't hate Webb, I still see you losing once you get to state or maybe in region finals or something. Tennisplaya, I'm surprised that Parks beat Baker, but I guess it happened. I don't see Crist beating Briggs though, he's better than you think he is. Webb and MBA would be a good matchup I think. It would be better if I knew MBA's lineup though. From what I know of MBA, Webb would win but I would need MBA's lineup to be sure.
  18. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Your posts get funnier and funnier. Titlebound is a stuck up Siegel player? You are the one who considers yourself superior just becuase you are in DII. Honestly, don't see Webb beating MUS, McCallie, Baylor either. Even though I don't like Webb, even if I did I still wouldn't see them beating those three. They are all too deep. Webb drops off after the 3 spot, maybe the 4, I have never really seen Haydek play. Sorry to bust your bubble
  19. Considering our number four player wiped Greer Mackebee off the court in a tournament a little while back, I'd say ALL of siegel's top four could play top six for Webb...but nice try /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Fulton didn't play for Bearden last year at all. So, yes, they were at full strength. BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THE TRI-MATCH!! I'm glad that we lost to Bearden when we did because it woke us up and made us focus and work harder to win the state title we earned. The tri-match is not relevant to anything. It meant nothing. It was a good match for us to play, that is about it. You are better than tennis than me? First of all, you don't even know who I am, so shut your mouth before you make ridiculous statements such as that. Why do you stick up for Bearden so much anyways? If Siegel had lost to Bearden at state last year, would you be sticking up for us? Do you have some sort of alliance with them, because you are both Knoxville schools? Sure, you could beat us. Congratulations. A private school could beat a public school. Quite frankly, I sure HOPE you all, as a private school, could beat us, Siegel, a three year old public school. That shows how stuck up you must be. If I wanted to play DII I could move up to Knoxville and play for Webb, but I'd rather stay here and take a shot at another state title. You, on the other hand, can take your chances with Baylor, McCallie, MUS, and the rest of the DII powerhouses. Have fun /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  20. What is Baylor's lineup? Webb folk are very confident in their team this year. I'm curious to see how these two would stack up.
  21. Hah well I mean only an idiot would dispute that, of course DII is greater than AAA. DII recruits players. DII is private schools where the students board and basically dedicate their lives to whatever sport they are playing at the school. Congratulations, you play in DII, so you are obviously better than me /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> I have never said we would beat Webb. I have never said we were better than Webb. I posted saying that I "wondered how we would do against Webb." Just because a puny AAA team could possibly win a match or two off of your DII prowess does not mean you should get your feelings hurt. I don't know if we would win matches or not but I believe we could. Is there something wrong with that? If you don't want to listen to it then here's a solution: DONT READ IT /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Again, about the tri-match. I have not ever said a word about hangovers. But Siegel was not full strength, it is a fact. Not an excuse. We did not have our number four player, nor did we have our number one doubles team. Bearden caught us off guard, because we did not go into that match focused. Bearden did. Bearden was better than us on that day. That is why we ALL wanted to play them at state. But if Maroon man wants to get excited about his tri-match "head to head" win against us, then he can. All I said was...I'm happy to have a state ring on my finger. About Harris, I never referred to him as a "god." But, he knows a whole lot about tennis. He has played tennis against all of the players you are talking about. All I want you to know is that you are not arguing with a clueless idiot who is talking out of his butt. I find it hilarious that all you Webb players are going crazy at the fact that I think we could beat you in a match here or a match there. I just think you take this division separation too seriously. Just because you are DII and we are AAA does not mean that we would get completely wiped off the court by any DII team. A Webb player last year on here tried to tell me that no one on Siegel's team could play top six for Webb. That is a "Tadd" bit off the mark, considering every player on Siegel's top four could play top six for Webb.
  22. Actually, my use of hypocritical was very much correct. YOU have already predicted your own team to win a state championship. Yet, you call us cocky. We have said only that we will be back at state this year. Who is the cocky one? You call us the cocky ones, yet you are already sizing your state rings you plan on winning. Hypocrisy at its finest. Don't try and correct my grammar, son. I know what I'm talking about /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> About the tri-match last year...(which i can't even BELIEVE we are still talking about LOL)...you take your win against us in a tri-match played when Siegel wasn't even full strength. I'll take a state championship and an enormous rock on my finger over that any day /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ...That is all I will say about that Siegel plays in a cupcake region, I'll give you that. However, we PLAYED and BEAT the best team out of your region last year, and that team was Science Hill, wasn't it? Or are you now going to say that you all were the best team and should have been there? Fact is, you weren't there. I would have rather played you because honestly, I think Bearden WAS the better team. Here's another fact, though, the team that came out of your region was the team that we beat, handily, in the state semi-finals. Our road to state was easy, but obviously we were prepared. That's all that matters, isn't it? One more thing, YOU might want to get YOUR facts straight before you decide to bash Harris. You don't know him, so don't try to act like you do. You think you know to whom you are talking, but in reality you are not even remotely close.
  23. Nobody said anything about not playing you last year. I didn't even wanna play Webb if you weren't full strength. And I wish we could play you this year just to see how it would go. But the schedule didn't work out...I don't know who said no to who or what but we aren't playing you and thats how it goes. Kyle is playing at MTSU
  24. Actually you won't see us out there seeing as you are DII and we are AAA. BY THE WAY...Harris Hooligans does NOT play for Siegel /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> The tri-match last year is nothing like what it would have been if Siegel had played bearden at the state tournament. That is all I will say about that. I hope we get to play Bearden this year, I wanted to play Bearden last year, because I think Bearden is better than Science Hill, you just don't match up very well with them. Maltsberger has proven that he can beat Kyle...we all know this. No you did not beat us 7-0 that is completely exaggerated and wrong. Webb would not win all singles matches, and would probably drop a doubles match if I do say so myself. But will we ever find out? If we are not scheduled to play then, no we won't, so this argument is completely pointless. Once again, Hooligans does not play for Siegel. Sorry to burst your bubble but no you did not catch him in a lie. Maroonnation, you say we are cocky yet you just predicted your team to win the state championship, and the season has hardly started. A little hypocritical, are we? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Siegel faces no competition? That's why we scheduled MBA, USJ, played in the Rotary, Carter, played a tri-match last year and this year, etc etc etc. We have a weak region so we make up for it with a tough out of region schedule. What matters most is that Siegel showed up to play when it counted and when it mattered most last year, and with the top four from the lineup returning how can you count us out? Not trying to sound cocky...think about it, though
