I didn’t hear of parents doing that a lot when I was in school. But I do know these parents of youth league kids have a different outlook on things than the old heads. I expect some changes with a few things here in the next 10-15 years.

Oh no bro we aren’t cheaters like other schools that have had to forfeit games for certain reasons. Ty and graham are the only kids I know of in sports in Martin to be held back. I saw graham in union city Friday night at the game. I feel like he’s gonna be bigger than ty!

Good analysis, I feel like WV and the mustangs well be top seeds this year. One of us will play union city twice and huntingdon may play Martin again in the postseason

Not to mention saying Peabody let us come back. I feel like we are just as good as they are and we have a stronger air attack than they do. If We had to play them twice a year we win at least one game. Union city is not a bad team, a run team. We didn’t have to throw to beat them. Fairview, who is tough. Probably felt like we toyed with them in the second half. Dresden are not scrubs, 5-2 losing a close battle to McKenzie. Our defense is mean and far better from the start of the season we are not allowing many points. Scored 35 in the second quarter alone. The stats speak for themselves no one can control their schedule completely

Trenton did not let Martin come back, we fought back. Peabody does not let teams come back that’s why they have all them gold balls now. Now that was kind of a exaggeration on his part with all those tds but it was a figure of speech. If you think huntingdon is gonna run over Westview you are in for a long night. Now I heard the mustang dbs were the weak point of the defense. Let’s hope for their sake Westview dosent go off cuz there won’t be no ground and pound if you down 21 points.

I wonder will huntingdon line up in the dime or quarter defense to have more speed and dbs on the field to match WV offense? Maybe the quarter with 3 safeties and 4 corners to try to limit big plays some teams disguise coverages in their packages but seeing 7 DBs on the field you will know the defense is expecting pass. I feel like they may line up in the nickel or a 4-3. I haven’t seen the mustangs play this year so I’m just guessing I don’t know if they play zone or man 4-3 or a 4-4 formation and have 3 dbs in the 4-4. I heard they were good up front though. Are they better than Trenton up front?

Getting into a shootout with Westview is what you don’t want happening. Our defense dosent allow those games anymore. Shut down the pass they can run and they did exactly that against union city

McKenzie 2nd team should play entire game

Westview defense will show up again, Huntingdon secondary is a weak point, that is gonna be a huge problem. They can score 35 in one quarter! U can’t be down 35 and still run the ball to catch up! Westview can run it too maybe even as good as the mustangs we shall see!

He had a long run against union city last night. Outside of that he really didn’t do a whole lot stat wise. We pretty much ran a lot in that game

Oh yes big region game for both teams! I’m gonna go with the same recipe I had all week. I’m leaning on WV defense once again for this game. Union city scored last minute of the game and was stopped short on 4th and goal on the play but the referees let them have it. I’m not comparing the mustangs to the tornadoes but I’m just not very concerned about our offense long as they are healthy.

We appreciate that! We are taught to show respect and sportsmanship regardless of how the other team behaves because how WV behaves will reflect on WV . It’s some schools that don’t like us but I promise we aren’t bad people.
