  1. Nope, part of a long tradition of plateau teams who fake an impressive schedule by playing the same 3-4 cupcake teams every year. Shoulda see it ten years ago, Cookeville and Livingston playing Clay Co and Pickett every year.
  2. Unless they let 30 year old dudes play, I don't think he has any eligibility left. Also, unlike you, he's not begging to relive the days of gold and purple.
  3. He is a great dude, no joke. My point is that maintaining the program in Trousdale has become more important than discipline, integrity, and alot of other things. Parents in that county care more about whether or not there is football than the law, school, or anything else. As a person, you'll find no finer man than Blake S, but he knows the game, the system, and what is expected there. If he didn't let those problem kids in and play and give them alot of slack, they might not have survived the first or second round, which is unacceptable there for some reason.
  4. Putnam County is growing, Cookeville High is one of the largest schools in the state (awful sports school given their numbers) and Upperman will eventully make it to 5A if not 6A.
  5. Upperman is no world-beater now a days. Then again, neither is Trousdale. Upperman will have more depth and that will be the advantage.
  6. Wish I could understand half of that, but what I can make out sounds like you're saying the coach shouldn't have to hold his boys accountable for things they do outside of school. That's pathetic, ya throw a tantrum on the sideline and get into it with an officer, that should be it, gone. Ya quit on your team to go play elsewhere because you aren't happy about not getting to play your chosen position, that should be it, gone. You get caught breaking the law, that should be it, gone.
  7. Lot of bad apples came back in from being thrown out or returning from what they thought were greener pastures. Real open door policy with the program now. Get busted, it's ok, throw tantrums on the sideline, it's ok, tell everyone in the program to piss off you're going to another school, it's ok. Everyone kept screaming for leadership from #5, but anyone who knows anything knows this teams true leader was on the line.
  8. They deserve a little more than credit, they beat the team of destiny in their own building. This is like FCS knocking off Oakland or something equally as tremendous. All it took was TC not being prepared, and the stupid game being 48 minutes instead of 50, and the Jackets letting them rush for 350 yds.
  9. Can't see how any game is more or less draining than the others? If anything Meigs had to be drained from that long drive up. Shame a team has that long of a drive, comes up and has more energy and intensity than the home team. The way I see it, Trousdale hasn't had to be consistent all year and it finally caught em. If you play that game ten more times, Meigs comes out on top at least 7-8 of the times.
  10. Making the final? They made the finals once since Creasy left 7 years ago, and got thrashed by Peabody. Where are you getting they were in the finals 3 of the last 4 years? Is it the same place you guys get the whole "We don't have transfers" logic?
  11. They had home field, and the person everyone said was the best player on the field, and still lost. All teams that lose run out of time. Stop making excuses, better team won. Team beats star.
  12. They want to be there, ask Big Satt. Dropped their totals to try and get down but still couldn't get there.
  13. Finally lost again? Didn't they have 2-3 losses this year before the playoffs? FCS got em, so did Watertown, and Gordonsville would have if they would have benched those starters for getting caught with the "Electric Lettuce". I don't wish ill on the kids, I just wish the program would stop acting like they don't recruit players, stop acting like they don't let the boys get away with murder, and stop acting like they are perennial championship contenders because that ship sailed in 2018. TC sells its soul for football mediocrity now, that's why they wanna bump down and play 1A ball, it's the only way they can win another title.
  14. Let's start the TC excuse checklist for all the arm chair quarterbacks at home and teaching PE, Injuries (Check) Tougher Opponents than Opponents in Playoffs (Check) Poor play-calling (Check) Outdated Offense (Check) Just take the L, you were basically a 1-2 man team and the better team got over, again.
  15. Not as pathetic as a bunch of grown men posting dozens of times a day about high school kids playing a game and getting all upset over it all. Really, get a hobby guys.
  16. Yup, also explains why the majority of em end up in that jail out side of town, or on here reliving glory though some teenagers.
  17. Boy, ya gotta love the victim mentality TCRadio has. "We don't get transfers", yet when you point em out they don't count for some reason. You are at the crossroads of 4 counties, every single title team has been built with some boys from Wilson, Macon, or Sumner. You aren't some exception, despite what you preach on here. "Our boys are the underdogs, always" yet, you have the super who is trying to get down to 1A so he can whip on lesser teams every year. "We have no idea about behavior of our boys" yet you live in a small town and brag about it despite players getting DUI's, pot arrests, and still being allowed to play. You are pretty much willing to turn a blind eye to anything it seems, and what will it get you, runner up again.
  18. Hicks and Pickett are not TC. They just magically appeared a few years back. Watertown are sore losers, no doubt about that, but stop acting like TC doesn't play the game Watertown does. Nothing worse than a full blown homer who pretends to be impartial and above it. Also, that blind eye turned to the off the field activities of some of the starters this year is not a good look either.
  19. So you know nothing about a player being physically attacked in practice after a confrontation with an assistant coach under Waggoner. You know nothing about that coach being suspended by the Principal of the high school for cursing her out, and eventually that coach leaving the school system under the agreement that the incident wouldn't be brought public? Ask your current coach and coordinators. I grew up here, I have no reason to lie.
  20. Sure, like that coverup a few years back when one of your coaches attacked a kid?
  21. That should tell ya, threats the minute I start posting positions and dates. I would never out a kid on here, unlike some of you. I am from TC, and I love alot of the boys, but this year has been disgusting to sit through given what they have allowed and tolerated to keep the machine going. I hope it is worth it, bc these boys are being taught to be above the law.
  22. Got a DB this week, RB's a few weeks back and a DUI before Gordonsville. No one missed a snap.
  23. Are you kidding me, Cheese? #1 - it is true. Just come out and admit it before I have to start naming players. #2 - It a coaches job to help create young leaders, pushing it off on the police is a joke.
  24. It is not embarrassing them, it is shining a light on a situation that was swept under the rug in Trousdale. Multiple starters were busted mid season and received little to no punishment, and now new players have been busted, so obviously there is a control issue, a discipline issue, and an integrity issue in Trousdale. Couple that with a coach striking a player in previous years, a coach stealing from the school system, and a coach sleeping with students and you have some serious oversight issues in your school system. Seems like it's all about that title up there.
