Does home field advantage really matter in a high school baseball game? I haven't seen where it does at all this Spring. You're either good or you aren't. I mean this ain't Rupp, Cameron Indoor, or the Swamp.
East won 4-1. ER pitcher threw all fastballs and Clay couldn't hit- except the dinger. Should be a good game tonight probably but I think ER pitching prevails again.
Really good question. I umpire in D10. It's actually down a little this year but each team has a good 1-2 punch on the mound - except Gallatin maybe. Hitting is down this year in this district. But they are solid teams not great. I looked for common opponents but that is limited. I think it would be a great tournament!
ted just now
They aren't playing soft schedules. They've beaten good teams like a drum. 4 College commitments with 2 D1 players. unapproved website #2 in State. Stick with hoops.
Ok in all seriousness, So Brighton won that game but you think Houston would have been any better the 2nd or 3rd game? Brighton won 4-1. I say Brighton wins either of the next two games.
I was just responding to the post that said the ref needs to watch the clock when it got down to a few seconds and being sarcastic. Thanks for your unnecessary reply.
It doesn't happen that often.
So a ref is engaged in a play for 27 seconds and then he needs to remember to stop watching the ball handler and look up at a shot clock. Ridiculous.
