My guess is open enrollment. I think they will be a low enrollment 3a team or a high enrollment 2a team this upcoming reclassification. There has been a steady decrease in enrollment district-wide there though.

Adding an article to this: https://www.tennessean.com/restricted/?return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tennessean.com%2Fstory%2Fnews%2Feducation%2F2022%2F06%2F27%2Ftennessee-metro-nashville-public-schools-enrollment-declining-charter-schools-gain-trend%2F7706586001%2F

They've been rumored to be shuttered 2-3 times, and have their students consolidated into other schools.  That has led to alot of exodus.  They have never been a great sports school, but they sit in a limbo.  They have athletes, just NO coaching.

Yeah, but kids talk, and local coaches talk, TC ain't exactly being secretive about plans to bring in some Lebanon, Sumner, and Smith kids next year.  I guess if you can't build your own, steal other people.

I'm all for it whatever it takes to win. I'm sure TC fans will welcome them with open arms.

Don't see it happening... but appreciate the complete lack of pride you guys are showing lol.

The new kid already lived in TC and went to school in TC.

I thought you said new players were joining the team very soon.

TSSAA won't allow move ins to play.  There are no good athletes available up there.  Best they can do is try and shake some trees and get some backups from Macon, Gordonsville, Lebanon, and Gallatin to jump over the line in the next 2-3 years.

I know for an absolute fact they have had feelers out at LHS.

As crazy as it sounds Trousdale County would reach the playoffs if they won this game and then beat Watertown to end the season.

East Robertson and Westmoreland are playing for the region championship.

Harpeth is safely in the playoffs at 2-2 in the region because they’ve won 5 games overall (and will probably win a 6th against Hickman County).

That leaves Watertown and Trousdale County.  If both teams end up at 2-3 in the region then Harpeth would get the #3 seed and after they are in the playoffs it goes to head to head and under that scenario Trousdale County will have beaten Watertown to claim the #4 spot.

Of course if Watertown beats Trousdale County like I believe they will then they would be the #3 seed and Harpeth would be the #4 seed and Trousdale County would get a head start on basketball season.

Trousdale County will beat Whites Creek this week.  It will be a lopsided victory as well.

There is no way Watertown doesn't smash TC just to keep em out.  I actually do think Tc beats White's Creek, but what kinda whack system do we have where the 4th place team in the district makes the playoffs lol... One of the weakest districts in the state and 4 teams in, it's laughable.

No, it's not worse real TC fans knew it would be this bad. Plus this game wasn't a priority for the TC team if you are not a region game you don't matter.

Love hearing rivalry games don't matter when you guys get stomped.  Especially against teams you guys try and steal players off of lol.

  7. Blake is not a team builder.  He is actually a good coach when he has the tools, but he doesn't care to build a team.  He has never been the guy to put in the hard work, the long hours, and grind, mainly because he has never had to, everything in his life has been easier because of dad and grand dad.  His houses have come half built for him, super nice guy, just he has never had to take things from start to finish.  He is not that guy, and isn't as accountable as a nobody who worked his way up from the bottom would have to be.

Couple that with the fact that nobody built any decent players in that middle school over the past 5 years, and you get this, TC is the worst team, in one of the worst districts in the state.

It does but, to be honest even if the kids played mistake-free football with a perfect game plan the record would still be the same with 1 win. The mistake was making the schedule knowing how the team would be this year. But I know TCs sacrifice this year for last year's team with a schedule like this. Next year I hope he tones down the schedule some are we may end up wineless again next year. I know we can't cha he our region games but we are overmatched and in tired of playing Friendship every year. I also think our region will have some changes.

So basically, you want them to schedule easier opponents?  They couldn't beat Harpeth...  So, are they gonna schedule Pickett Co a few times?

Interesting twist to the post. It's a straw man that no one mentioned. My youngest kid is 34. He did play at a small college in Maryland.

I think in general, you are projecting, and if you need to scream the above at yourself for it to sink in, knock yourself out.

College ball from a small high school isn't that unusual. There are plenty of small colleges around. Pro ball is less than a 1 in a million shot, just to add facts to your sort of psychotic self-own above.

You take it literally about yourself.  I mean of the thousands of parents, under 1% of their kids play on the next level.  You are the one who needs to stop projecting, and maybe learn reading comprehension.

    Wrong.

Fans are always the scapegoat. It's a garbage take. Team is terrible? Fans aren't doing something right. Coach is incompetent? Fans are too mean, and need to be more supportive.

All fans do is 1) empty their pocketbooks on fees, uniforms, travel, concessions, fund-raisers and more, 2) drive everywhere, 3) deal with their kids not playing enough, getting injured, and terrible play-calling by people who are getting PAID to do their jobs. 4) deal with horrible refs who aren't supposed to be earning a LIVING with this. I thought they enjoyed it and it was supplemental income. All of a sudden we need a union, 401k, and medical benefits.

But yes. By all means, let's blame fans. Takes zero intelligence or effort. Sort of how these coaches and refs do their actual jobs- no intelligence or effort.

Spoken like a person who has never coached, or reffed a game in his life.  People in the stands are as bad as they come, and it's simply not worth the abuse for these guys.  Coaches don't threaten to follow you to a parking lot, some idiots dad or mom, does...  Too many parents don't understand this simple fact... YOU CHILD WILL NEVER PLAY COLLEGE OR PRO BALL, no matter what you do or say..

I’m expecting a lot from TC as B Satt has been talking about this game in his post game interviews for three weeks. He conceded games against westmoreland and smith to focus on this game. Putting whole season into Harpeth whites creek and Watertown to try to keep the playoff streak alive. He said none of his top three ball carriers got a single carry against westmoreland. So I’m expecting a big win Friday for the jackets!

    ROTFLMFAO

Reggie Harper and Troy Calhoun are two TC legends in both basketball and football if you don't know about them then you better ask somebody.

Nobody outside of hartsville knows these fools, hence, not legends.

Every small town has those people, they aren't legends.

Yes there are legends for surePenny Ford, Mike Potts(as a player and a coach), Nelson Harper, Del Rankins, and Reggie Harper.  There aren't many but all of the dudes on this list could play basketball at a high level.

Yeah, nobody knows those guys.    Not legends lol.
