Dresden has enough to worry about in Region 7A, I wouldn't be worried about week 2 with McKenzie. They're in Region 6.

Agreed 100%! I was on the sideline on last years contest. He's average in size but he's a workhorse, & a talented athlete!

If you'll read the first part of this thread, I stated that Moore County's #6 Dawson White would be a frontrunner, with McKenzie's #14 Tate Surber being in the hunt as well!

Was he their RB in the game against Mckenzie on 11/12/2021? It was at Mckenzie in the 2nd round.

I believe McKenzie will easily win this Region. I just don't see anyone (1A) coming close. Our toughest opponent will be in County rival Huntingdon. Now that'll be a great game!

It's true, he spoke to the seniors a few days back & my son was in the group he spoke with. He' a great coach and will be missed. He'll continue to do good things in Milan.

As of right now Mckenzie Rebels are slated to open with McNairy Co. on Friday July 28th @ McNairy Co. Then close the summer with Lexington on Friday August 4th at Mckenzie. Hopefully we'll get to see what we need to work on before opening the 23 season with Huntingdon a couple weeks later.

Moore County looses 4 Seniors I believe, they'll definitely be a juggernaut with #6 Dawson White as Qb1!

Well, going off last years underclassmen performers, I'd have to say #6 Dawson White is the frontrunner. my sleeper is #14 Tate Surber from Mckenzie. Tell me what you think!

McKenzie only had 1 representative on the All State team.....hmmm that seems odd, especially since only 1 team challenged us in 15 games.
