Forrest is the most disciplined and athletic team it the region. Whatever step or steps back they take due to Eli not knowing his *** from a hole in the ground shouldn't impact their ability to win this really bad region.

Eli sent a blocker directly at Cascade’s top tackler all night long so he deserves at least a little credit for having a game plan

This region is Forrest's to lose. Every team but Summertown was very young last year.

    Way to early prediction:

    1. Forrest: they have the best group of athletes returning from a quarterfinal team but can they adjust and utilize those athletes or sit in the under center wing-t and keep on doing what they have been doing (which has won them quite a few games). They also had one of the best middle school teams around last year.

    2. Cascade: Graduated their QB who was a one man show at times last year. Who replaces him? They have the size to push people around but didn't see much speed from them.

    3. Mt. Pleasant: Very young team last year that had the players to compete with anyone in the region but can they put it all together and play complete games.

    4. Summertown: Graduated a ton but you cannot ever count out Summertown in any sport. Those kids are competitors and hate to lose at anything.

    5. Richland: They have a lot of players and some decent athletes but have to get out of their own way.

    6. Loretto: Basketball and Baseball school that doesn't take football as serious. If they can get some of those athletes out from other sports they could compete for the 4th slot like they did last year.

I can’t imagine Forrest  changing their offense —especially considering they will have a 5‘6“ running back playing quarterback or a freshman, they might not have a pass completion all season…

Dixon, maybe Cascade’s best athlete, is the  likely quarterback and the new RB is 200lbs

Mount pleasant was mostly juniors last season so I don’t expect much improvement

Summertown has speed and that MLB/RB is a monster

Richland has the best QB in the Region

    Loretto unlikely to do much

im not sure why you post. when is the last time cascade won a playoff game or a region

And last seasons Forrest victory was 14 to 7 with two minutes remaining in the third quarter —and we had at least four starters out due to injury, it certainly was not the domination that you remember…

I’m new to the area-I have no clue of the program’s history and neither do the players-past performance means very little-fwiw, Cascade and Forrest are 1-1 since I moved to Wartrace

Except by the end of the second round playoffs!

As dominant as Riverside seemed last season, unless there is a major catastrophe happening with them, they will be the clear cut winner of that region. The way Cascade flames out, my guess is they were way over rated. Therefore, my guess is Chapel Hill will rule that region.

Thing I’m wondering is if Hohenwald will enter the season ranked next year? I’m thinking the word is out on that program.

Now, with Riverside taking assertive control of that region, will the t$$aa pull them out and move them i to the region with Chapel Hill??? Seems crazy to thing but things like that have happened before that opened a door for Hohenwald.

Then, what about Summertown coming on?

The injury bug derailed Cascades season--only lose 4 seniors--and brought in two transfers that are expected to contribute from day 1--should be right there with Forrest.

Every game on that schedule is losable. All but Marion are also winnable. This team could go 0-10 or 9-1 or anything in between.

I'm betting 5-5. Don't know how exactly, but this staff will find a way

    I'm thinking 6-4 -but I agree- y'all could be 9-1

Y’all where Junior loaded last year and also come close going to the 4th round

Still lost a lot of All region players—including the DPOTY and the QB. The line should be great—Cascade also returns all linemen, plus picked up two big transfer skill players. Should be fun!
