  1. Yeah this is ugly. Dyersburg is garbage
  2. Shew they were 2 different teams lol. If they play like they did in the 2nd half against us they will win by 15+ atleast
  3. I agree. I wouldn't have mind playing Dyersburg either. We love the "blind" draw...
  4. I agree we screwed in the 3rd quarter. Played almost flawless in the 1st half you can't come out and do that in the 3rd
  5. I agree this will be one of the best games in the tournament. There were alot of times LA was extremely psychical that I thought should have been fouls. To go the last 5:06 with making a feild goal and winning... sounds near impossible
  6. Those refs didn't know what a charge was. They missed 5 of them!!!
  7. I think it is the most underrated 1st round game of them all. Like you said it should be a good one. I think the winner of that game comes out of that half the bracket. 10 o'clock cant come fast enough lol
  8. Elite 8 winners Greeneville/Dyer Co. Elizabethon/South Side Final 4 winners Greeneville/Elizabethon Championship winner Greeneville
  9. Young and raw. Not alot of big names(yet). But at Greeneville it's always a reload. For example, the year the 2019 class left they said we would fall of but get we made it to round 3 and fell to the eventual state champs. Anyways, to say it will be a double digit win for AC is absurd. We have a very talented defense. Our running backs are way better than theirs. I see it as a very even match between very different styles
  10. Yeah it was Dabbs up the middle every game that year. I was in middle school at the time and I did not understand other teams and what they had. All I knew was what we had and the fact for 4 straight years we played Fulton in the playoffs and them beating us the last 2 of it.
  11. Oh my gosh don't even get me started lol. The Catholic loss was awful to me because I vividly remember Justin the announcer give the scores of interest during the game before and him saying Catholic beat Fulton and I was running around yelling to everyone WE ARE GONNA GO WN STATE! and then Catholic came and took us out lol. But yeah that Central loss is easily top 5 pain I've ever felt as a Greene Devil
  12. I completely agree I'm not comparing them but their overall records are in the same area. Cade will be the 1st to admit he got what he got because of the group he was with. All Brady has to be is a game manager. He knows how to play the game and he plays it the right way. Sometimes running the ball is the way to go. His stats might not jump off the page but when its time he can make the right decision to best help the team. I am just saying they are both great in their own ways. Brady has his job to do and he does it very very well.
  13. 31-3 as a starter is pretty dang good if you ask me. 3 losses in 2 years to a team that was the 2 time state champs and state runner up seems okay to me. He is right behind Cade Ballard who was 52-3 as a starter at Greeneville. A loss to Morristown West, Knox Catholic in round 3 and a loss to Knox Central in round 2. He is in with good company
  14. Their QB is one of the best in the state no doubt about it but our QB is not a "liability" just because he doesnt have the craziest stats. Everyone knows we are run 1st team and he gets pulled with the rest of the starters late 2nd early 3rd 9 times outta 10 because of blowouts. I mean he did take out AC as a sophomore. I dont see him as a "liability"
  15. Yeah we were driving down the field and couldn't punch it in and they took over and then we jumped offsides to seal the game. We wacked them in E town and I didn't think we would do the same at home in the playoffs but I didn't see us only putting up 7. They missed an extra point so all we needed what that TD and extra point to win it. I will say thou Tullahoma was legit last year they only had 1 starter who wasn't a senior lol
  16. It really did. Whatever could go wrong did go wrong for us and whatever could go right did go right for them. Just how it goes sometimes for sure
  17. It was an odd game. Not having Mason Laws hurt but Rollins kept taking up the middle and waiting for a hole to open. The game winning touchdown pass was a throw off the wrong foot and a one handed catch. Just a weird game all around but thats why you play. Win some, lose some and keep moving forward either way
  18. Yeah the only reason why you should play more sports is the possibility of injury but even then people like Kobe last year, Everyone knew he was going to play basketball, one of the greatest basketball talents this area has ever seen.. Yet, he kept playing football to try to win a state championship in football too
  19. I agree. It is good to focus on one sport more if you are gonna go play college ball but to have something else in the offseason could be huge not only for yourself but for your school. My favorite example was Haze Culbreth who was a football and soccer player but decided to play basketball in the middle of those two and he ended up hitting 4 or 5 straight 3s in the state quarterfinals to help a comeback win
  20. That comes from our D getting us great field position with 3 and outs. Also from great punt and kick off returns. We did have a lot of penalties last week hopefully we get that cleaned up and its a clean game for both teams. No dumb penalties and no injuries
  21. Sr. • 6' 4" • 280 lbs committed to Austin Peay. Sr. • 6' 1" • 260 lbs. So. • 6' 2" • 275 lbs. Sr. • 6' 7" • 270 lbs. Fr. • 6' 0" • 215 lbs there are a few of the big boys up front
  22. Our D is really that good we held teams to less than 100 yards total and even held a team to -33 yards this season. Even with the 2nd and 3rd strings in. The real question is how is AC gonna deal with our 4-5 ball carriers running all over the place? speed kills
  23. Thought Id share this with the group. I think some of yall will like it
