The same as you feel about Satterfield staying. If you are going to say the talent level just isn't there to justify Blake's 2-8 record, when you have to say the same thing about Hackett's defense. I was able to stream the game Friday night and it looked like Pickett County wearing Watertown's Jerseys and Red Boiling's JV wearing Trousdale's Jerseys. My eyes and brain will forever hurt now.

I'm not wrong at all. I sat in Alternative school a few times at the old high school on the hill. After lunch at 12:30, Clint Satterfield left the building!!! 100% Facts. No one was left done that hallway but Ag Students and Dan Dickerson. He may have taught Gym/Wellness, but it was in the morning hours. Creasy fell into a couple State Titles, don't get me wrong, but that dude could coach. The money helped Creasy make the decision, but Clint and Creasy had issues. Trust issues usually begin when you are lied to. Clint didn't want Creasy passing him is an accurate statement. Creasy came to TC, won State Championships, took the Dillehay girl, and left for a better opportunity. Now he's got a Power House Program in Tennessee and TC is drowning in tears.

He was also the reason he left. Lied to him from the get go. Was promised to be done teaching everyday by 12 and allowed to go to the football field to get ready for practice and game planning (seem familiar-Clint's schedule when he coached). Satterfield then started making Creasy teach Alternative school and spend more time in the classroom. Promised one thing and deliver another. Relationship became toxic.

Then it seems like to me maybe CLINT (Unless he's providing Medical services to me, I refuse to consider him a Doctor) needs to retire. Domino Effect. Knock one down and they all fall. Just one Ghost's Opinion though.

Easy 3:16...It seems Watertown has kids wanting to move in and play, while TC has players leaving left and right. Hmmmm, must be a problem there. Watertown gets beat by TC 3 years in a row in the 3rd round, but yet kids want to move in and play for them. TC makes it to the 4th round 4 years in a row, and kids are quitting and moving to play for other local teams. I think the writing is on the wall what is happening! RTD thinks he knows the system, but this isn't Jr Pro and some things stay behind closed doors. It's bad when a guy from the Boro area knows all the secrets. Lips are sealed!

IMO the wrestler that won State and Shockley would have helped TC out a ton. #7 could be used a lot more in various positions if Shockley stayed. #7 is the better QB, but at this point and time extra bodies always helps a team that dresses 20 players. They would have beat Harpeth and they would have been close to beating the Region Champs on that rainy night (which helped TC stay in the game).

Everyone in Tennessee knew that one. Poor guy couldn't coach, so they trapped him and pinned stealing gas on him. That was an easy out to say, "you aren't the coach we thought you was going to be, "Take Your Gass and Get Out of Town!" Easy Fix.

I think he earned it. I think he's a good coach. From an outsider looking in though, if anyone else went 1-9 or MAYBE 2-8, they would be gone if they didn't have ties (AND YOU TC HOMERS KNOW IT). When this year started, I honestly had Trousdale finishing 2nd in their Region behind East. What blows my mind is this, you had a team that went to the 4th Round last year and lost a couple key players, but polls had TC picked in the Top 3 in the State in August. What happened? I have heard a couple kids wont play for Satterfield, but was there that big of a fall in talent? Everyone in TC that I talked to in June and July thought a 7-3 or 8-2 was in store.

IMO the reason they won those games is because they had the best "Player" on the field in all of them and both were studs. If you give Cam Rankins or Bryce Claiborne the ball 40 times, your defense will eventually get tired. And they had motivation by losing to Watertown earlier in the year. I think Satterfield is a good coach, but a GREAT coach wouldn't have lost those regular season games. I think it happened 3 years in a row if my old memory is correct.

You may need to check your resources. On a side note, you guys in TC believe in giving a Jr High team that goes 2-6 Rings? That was the talk of the town last night over here in BugTussle. I know that Championship rings in Trousdale are valued and honored more than Wedding Rings are, but you can't go around awarding kids rings for winning 2 games. Setting them up for failure at a young age IMO.
