I plan to watch Warren county in the next few weeks but agree they should be able to play good basketball until they face some size and good coaching. Their lack of length to go along with the junk offensive play calls and defensive schemes will get them beat in tournament match-ups. Coffee County is always a formidable team but can never seem to get over the hump in the region. Is this year any different than past years with much more talented teams? I do agree, they are the best team top to bottom in middle tennessee south of Murfreesboro regardless of classification.

Blackman has looked good in the preseason. I was impressed with Cookeville in the summer but they did not look very good earlier this week. Oakland will get better as the season goes on and Cleveland versus Bradley will be a battle all year in East Tennessee. Lebanon should compete in a weak district and region but their youth will be exposed at the substate and state level. I still say the champs will come out is the East

Lawrence County impressed once again with a big win to start 2-0. Lincoln County also starts season with a win and Page gets the new coach a win in the new school. Tullahoma struggles with a bad Cascade team but pulls away with a late blowout. Bearden has an impressive start to their season as well.

Upperman should be the favorite until someone can beat them. Beating a very good Oakland team in the season opener should send a message to AAA basketball that they are not going anywhere. White County looked impressive at Lebanon last Saturday and will be right there at the end. Cumberland County and Livingston Academy will both be very good once again and that district will be very tough. South Gibson is a very well coached team and Lincoln County had a good summer and preseason and they will shock some teams. Lawrence County looked very good on Tuesday on the road and has very good length in a weak district. Still be interesting to see how Page does this year with a new coach. Was not impressed with Tullahoma at Lebanon with the new hire, they have a lot of talent and could surprise some people but was not well coached. Lot of good teams in the middle tennessee area in AAA but Upperman is still the champion.
