Said it’s been going on for years. The TSSAA knows who does it but they choose not to do anything about it unless a big stink is made.

I mean the Middle TN area alone has one of the better recruiting private schools in the state for girl’s basketball in Webb and a head coach at a public school that likes to recruit players and add parents to his staff in order to get some players from outside his zone too. It’s been happening for years and these people don’t even have to try and cover it up or be discreet because the TSSAA doesn’t have the backbone to do anything about it. Never has and never will.

At this point it’s not limited to just the private schools. Yes they are the only ones that can legally recruit but there are plenty of public schools that recruit right now too and the TSSAA chooses to do nothing about them. So to answer your question i don’t feel like allowing it would be a terrible idea but with the TSSAA already struggling to uphold the rules they have in place what makes us think they would be able to enforce any recruiting rules and sanctions?!

At this point does CC know what is past the region? And you’re the one that wanted to bring history into it. Shelbyville has won more State Titles than CC has made appearances. The CC kids are talented there is no doubt, now imagine if they had a head coach and not just a recruiter that puts good assistants with talented kids on his staff.

Oh ScottyP, I know we aren’t talking about recruiting with JPC at the helm in CC. And you can’t really believe the other “Top Programs” in the state are scared to play them.

Think we found the JPC burner account cause he’s the whole dog and pony show all by himself.

The staff teaches those kids more than he knows about basketball. He’s essentially a show dog with his antics and yelling while the assistants save his #### over and over with scouting and adjustments. He’s advantageous on the recruiting trail though. Maybe they should play Webb to see who the best recruiter in the state really is. A head coach that only cares about how the stats look and the record isn’t really there for the kids to develop and move to the next level. Those are some very talented girls no doubt and no shots at them. But imagine if he exposed them to some of the other top talented players in the state instead of scheduling cupcakes.

Coffee only wants to play lower teams to pad stats and have a good looking record. Doesn’t help them develop and that’s why they never can or never will win a State Title or compete for one.
