When does the interviewing process start for McKenzie? I wonder if them already having spring training makes them not rush the process?

Very true on the last part. There are a lot of Coordinators who are apart of successful programs and see the ins and outs of it but don’t get interviewed because they don’t have “experience” and there are a lot of head coaches who are successful because of their coordinators but they had the connection to get the head job.

Any chance McKenzie looks outside of West TN for their hire? A lot of good spread guys across the state.

I could see that. But I could also see him staying at Riverside until he is done because a lot of his family is there.

I think it will be tough for them to move down to 2a especially if they have a big middle school class coming in. They would have to hope that some teams from 2a decide to play up in 3a which I don't see happening. I don't think playing up into 4a is a bad thing. You could schedule teams like South Gibson, Lexington, Hardin County to see where you stack up against the other side of the bracket if you got that far. Not saying they would compete and win it all in 4a but you at least have a better chance than a guarantee second place at best against Alcoa if you can get past East Nashville.

So why did Mcconnell leave Westview after 1 year and why would Westview bring him back after not winning no more than 4 games a year at Camden?

He is on every topic across the state. But to get back to topic. What is taking Westview and Hardin county so long to find their guy?

Yeah that is very true. Lexington usually has a good football team with a down year thrown in there. Isn't there another Hollingsworth on the staff there. Would they promote him to Head Coach?

Is the Lexington job a job that a lot of coaches would want to go after? Do they still have a lot talent there or upcoming? Also how does it play out with the old coach becoming the county AD
