I’ve heard some names, CBT being one. While I think you could definitely make a worse higher, I don’t know the level of success he’s shown without Mr. Football caliber players, but if he’s bringing those with him then let’s go! I’ve also heard one sitting head coach in the area, and a county coordinator’s name. I’ve read posts about our administration, my question is, is it our admin or is it just every admin in knox county? Very few of them seem to just be willing to do what it takes for athletics to succeed.

Oh I agree with you, Red. I believe the next HC has to be ready to defend against the poachers while also doing some recruiting of his own. That’s the name of the game now a days right? Recruit your own schools halls and recruit other schools Rec league teams. My point was more of the solid pool of athletes mixed with some pretty good resources is already here.

To say CJM was not the problem may be a stretch. While I wish him the best, the program did not make any strides under him. At least not visible ones. Sure, parents are whiny and voice their opinions when they probably shouldn’t. But the product wasn’t what it was. HVA can and has been successful. I have faith the next hire will take it there.

Hardin Valley should not be a dumpster fire. Feels like a long time since we competed , but we were competing just a few years ago! I have faith we are going to make a great hire!
