With that freshmen coming up Shelby Taylor. They once again will have a LOAD of guards prolly overall best in Middle Tn! If Coach Smith can find some way to get help from down low they have a great chance at doin something big in 06-07!

Being a die hard LA fan its tough for me to say this but Catholic and Fulton will rule Region 2-3A next fall! with LA having a rebuilding year, and Them two loosing hardly noone who ever wins that playoff game this year wont have to worry about meetin up with LA i dont think so they will go on to win the state tittle! but LA made mircales happen last year maybe they can come out wit a Cinderalla II!

This might be a bold statement but i like goin out on a limb! Livingston Academy will loose 3 to 4 guys on there defence from this past season! Yes i know you cant replace Cates but everyone else can be! and i look for there D to step it up this coming year! Thats the only way they will have a shot to stay in a game with loosing all but FOUR starters on Offense.... 2 OL is comen back and a FB and WR! Tough year for the Defending State Champs but i believe there D will indeed be pretty good!

Heck yeah with returning 3 starters.......Matthews, West, and Stephens.....with the help of Ledbetter , Kilgore down low! They have some great freshmen coming into this system better watch out for this team next year! With Matthews and West refusing to leave LA with out a ring of there OWN!

Yes making it to state is a great thing but, Your just like Livingston Academy! it doesnt matter if a team goes 0-20, or 19-1 if neither have gold then its pointless to brag about it! and yes Mc goes to state year in and year out, but after awhile that shouldnt be all they want! If you are only shootin to go to state then theres no point being there the goal is to WIN STATE not just make it there! and I can remember back when we LA have left MC upset and down! once again i have to say MC is a good team but yet to live up to the potienal that you give them credit for! cya in Hogeye Country in the future year or years!

No....if you gonna bring up that we LA fans supposly whine? then im gonna let you be reminded how many gold trophies we have! and Central is an awesome team ive said that before and said it again but how do you take away from LA? they played yal till the final shot in your own gym out numbered 50-1 with only 2 seniors! Cant wait to see this match up next year Ashley Matthews #10 , and Alison West #3 will not let these girls loose! The only people will have a shot come tourney time will be AE in the State Tourny! But Ash and Al will bring home gold just like Beech and Meg did in 04!

We are not complaining about the LOST! Both teams played there hearts out and McMinn Central got the better outcome thats all! The refs did stink tho! AND YES FOR BOTH TEAMS! and also it isnt the facilities that we are insulting we are upset by the way your older crowd treated our younger kids! Would you want some older person cussing at your son or daughter for cheering for there team? if you can be honest and truthful and answer yes then your a cold blooded, low down, sorry parent that doesnt care about your kids! all we are doin is taken up for our boys that where treated so poorly!

There are some teams that win on pure talent with not alot of discipline and respect from the community(Alcoa). It's a lost art and should be instilled in our kids by the parents. This is very true! and yes Coach E does Demand respect not only tords him, but tords the community the other coaches the other teams and within the team! Great system the way they work down in hogeye country!

No one said the student section was rude! We said the Older folks.....actually the student section there was calm to York's so nothing new to LA but the older fans not students where the rude ones tellin the boys they had 3 seconds to seat down or they woudl be thrown out! and that one woman cussing them and tellin them they cant cheer for there team! not the student section but the other fans! now does that ANSWER YOUR QUESTION?

Il have to take Wildcat324 defense here! Them LA students where sent to that bench behind your girls by a TENNESSEE HIGHWAY TROOPER! because they didnt want them standing in the fire exits but as i was told when the boys arrived down there a mother or lady fan jumped them up and down when they stood to applaud for Livingston's starting lineup! and motioned secruity to come over there and the guy from Mcminn Central told them they had 3 seconds to move or they would be escorted out of the gym! so being good guys they went down to the end and finally talked to the TROOPER that sent them down there and that Trooper let them stand in that corner! So next year i cant wait to see yall down in Hogeye Country we will show you that for 1. wat a gym really is! 2. that you can set and support your team where ever you can find room! 3. finally how to ask the TSSAA for a good set of officals that let the gurls play 49 fouls in that game lastnight is redicouls!!!!! and the end of the first half the count was livingston had 16 to Mcminns 8 i mean they did even out in the end but thats only bc they ref started to notice that he was becoming a mcminn fan instead of a TSSAA offical! not blamin it on the refs just saying they was horrible!

Livingston Academy has that displine which they had in the 70s and 80s.......that little small down backs its coachs.......and Leadership is what it runs on bc they have very few big time kids if any each year so they run on displine and leardership! yeah thats not exactly wat yal was talkin about but i thought i would let yall know there is still teams out there like that!

Matthews is a Junior! She will be back next year and she wants a gold ball more than anything in this world so you better watchout! and Mallie Stephens #20 is also a Junior! With Alison West #3 also being a Junior three of the starting 5 will be back next year! I know for a fact that these girls wont leave Livingston Academy without the gold ball next year! GO BIG BLUE!

Nobody cares about how nice or how prestige your town is....We care about what kind of footballl comes from that town of Forgot or Farragut however you spell it......Go play at CN prove every one wrong but i would gurrantee that it would be tough for you to start in region 2-3A! and you would have no chance against AE, Futlons and AC Dl's.............so hush it up be 6'0 250 and shut up about it! and something else FULTON WOULD CRUSH FARRAGUT! so be really and hush tha big talk for such a lil guy

Exactly Right! His OL was one of the best in 3A no single kid but all 5! 3 running backs to help! they all almost had a 1,000 a peice that would be 4,000 yards if you dont kno ss55 but Cates is special but he wasnt the only thing LA had! The best thing they had yes! and alot of these kids on this team and the OL poistion could play at 5A and help and be productive! now your prolly right about the skills kids not as fast as most 5A kids but then again some are faster and better so lay off 3A football........its the Toughest A to play in! its more physical than any of them bc they believe in old school football run down your throat and then run some more and more! something noone else does.....

More Choices to be made! and if you want to get all big time about it last year LA beat Wilson Central and company by 3 and 4 tds in two scrimmages! and if i remember they laid it to Cookeville this year in a scrimmage winning by 2 tds! and i hear them 5A names all the time but your big bad school only heard of once or twice your no where near good as you let on! LA knocked off DCA! Great jobs girls! Alison West MVP of this game she played amazing on both ends of the floor! You better watch out for this team they can win it all if they play that good on both ends of the floor from here own out i dont know if anyone can beat them! Great Game Girls lets do it again Wed! I would like to personally thank the 7 or 8 guys and gurls that made the trip to WH to support the girls tonight they made there own little student section and was pretty loud goin up against that DCA bunch! You dont sound like one of the Best Lineman in my opion bc Good and Great Lineman dont say a word if they get put down they show how good they are on the field if they get some glory they dont let it get to there head! You sound like to me a Home Town Hero....lettin all the scott co. folks tell you that your great and its gettin in your head dont get me wrong your an ok OL but your name was sum1 the coaches from other teams talked about! Fultons OL huge plain an simple! #40 Hamliton kid is Amazing! Best DL in this Region followed closely by #51 from Catholic, Romreo (not sure on the spelling) and third in that list would be AC DL they was the best ALL TOGATHER DL i seen all year...... OL in my opion has to go to LA as a whole i mean they didnt have Superstar stand outs they just had 5 or 6 guys willing to open wholes....and 3 of there runners had a 1,000 or close to 1,000 yards a peice, with Mike Jones haven around 700.....but they do loose alot this year on the OL, only returnin 2 full time starters (70, 52) and a sof. this coming year that played alot and in my opion is goin to be GREAT! Jessie Cole.....#57 (RG) but he saved the game as a freshmen in the 2nd round of the playoffs...LA folks knows all about that!

Everyone keeps talkin about the skilled guys but they would be the first to tell you that they cant do it with out the big hogs blocken for them so who was the best ones in this region the past season?

I disagree with the Carter game! La had Carter beat in the 3rd but La hadnt been up all year so they had no idea wat to do with a 21-7 lead so they almost lost it but they finshed strong (sorta like the whole playoffs) and went on the win the state tittle playing strong in the 2nd half of games!

Charlie Murphy has no clue about football is what I have come to conclude! Ladd beat out some of the best players in the STATE for Mr. Football ( Cates, Rogan, Harrison Smith) I mean the list goes on but he went home with the hardware! I'm not from White House, actually am one of there arch rivals, but Ricky can have a good college career put in the right Offense, OVC is a perfect fit for him!
