It also depends on what ER team shows up. The one that was beating CCS with 30 minutes left, or the one that Lost to CCS 5-0(?) earlier in the season ER has some fast forwards.

East Ridge 2 Hixson 0 Well played game for both teams.....Hixson had many more shots on goal......but just could not put it in the net. In the second overtime East Ridge was able to score twice. Was a fun game to watch. Wish it could have turned out the other way, but good luck to the pioneers. I have watched them over the last 4 years and they can be very proud. Can't take anything away from Hixson with a 14-4-1 season. Good job Wildcats for a great season of fun.

if theyre metal, definitely no. If they arent, ..probably no at high school level. Why would you want to? they are sooo heavy in comparison. (we have football players that joined the soccer team for fun and they were AMAZED!)

I had heard some rumors about a lot of redistricting in which a lot of private schools would be in different divisions.

I wish that I could pick the outcome of the 6A|AA. I think the top 2 spots are up for whoever plays their game that night. It will be nice to see that it will not be the same 2 teams that it has been for the last.... years. Change is nice. Wish everyone good luck in district play, but I must say GO WILDCATS!!!!! And Signal Mountain is also in that Bracket. They are 6th..Which would put Hixson in the good bracket.. CCS (gets a by first round in this case.) MVM, I am the mom of the kid who got a yellow card in the last five minutes. Here is the quote that earned him the card Play was getting out of hand, his teammates were getting angry and EVERYONE was yelling curse words, but he said. "COME ON GUYS CALM DOWN CALM DOWN!! THE REF IS NOT GOING TO TAKE BACK THE CALL HE HAS ALREADY MADE! HE IS GOING TO CALL THE GAME THAT HE WANTS TO CALL!" he doesnt curse because his beliefs are against that. the ref gave him the yellow, and my son said "I was talking to my teammates, they need to calm down." The ref replied "You were talking about me." Sounds like he got his feelings or ego hurt.. Keep in mind that in the last ten minutes, about 3-7 calls went against hixson, and the middle ref did not call three calls that his assistants signaled. (He waved them off and said "no sir, thats fair play.") What do you think about this game MVM? I thought both teams hustled, but i think Hixson let the refs determine the results of that game. 1-1 tie.

Hixson- 11-3-1 Hixson only has 5 seniors. 3 of them starters. 2nd 3rd and 4th leading scorers for Hixson are freshman. Hixson left defense is a freshman (keep in mind hixson hasn't lost by more than 1) 5/6 of the freshmen play at least three fourths of the game or more.

Justin Mathieson- Hixson Plays Right Defense on one of the top defenses around. (3 losses only by 1 goal each.) Has a long through that is very affective offensively Also 4th in the nation of all freshmen in wrestling.

Jacob Barber- Hixson 7 goals (27% of his shots) Plays a little over half of each game. A goal against CCS and Notre Dame. (Both headers from crosses)

Hixson 3 Mcminn Central 1

CCS came out on top after a 0-0 tie at half time with Hixson leading in shots 8 to 3. CCS came out after half time determined to score, while Hixsons players were still celebrating the half time tie. CCS scored twice in about 8 minutes. Both goals were through balls to CCS #2, and Hixsons defense was determined they were both offsides. Hixson scored with 14 minutes left which made both teams kick in to an extra high energy game. Hixson led the game in shots. This district tournament looks like it could be a close one. Thoughts on these teams?
