ya west knoxville is a collection of kids from any area high school. Right now we have Bearden, West, Maryville, Oak Ridge, and Greenback. I think it is open to everyone though.

Somewhat irrelevant, but West Knoxville took out Farragut last night by a score of 6-4. Matt Felker had 5 of our six. The game was very intense with a fight with about ten seconds left. It was West Knoxvilles first win over farragut ever.

Centennial beat West Knox by a score of 9-8. It was a very hard fought game, coming down to a Centennial goal with about thirty seconds to go. Both teams went balls to the wall and it was great to watch. Props to numbers 3, 47, and 12 for Centennial (I couldn't find their names), and Matt Felker and Adam Bates for West Knox. It was a great game that I think we should have won, but i really wish no one had to lose.

I know it's really early, but with ravenwood gone, who is favored to win DII. Does anyone have a chance besides Cordova?

I donno. For some reason i find the astheticly displeasing. Just something about them. O well they won. Maybe it will shut up the ESPN announcer that wouldn't say anything except that his partner was the goalie for the last championship team from hopkins. Good Job Jays. But I liked the devils better. The one person that I like from hopkins is Kyle Harrison. He had a great game

Johns Hopkins won 9-8. What does everyone think about the game that saw it. Personally I hate johns hopkins and i wanted duke to win. Good luck to the devils next year.

Ya he's gone and so is ryan kizer, brett harper, kyle travis, and daniel ezelle. Those are the ones that I know from Farragut. From west knox. Michael Mckay, Ron Laffitte, Ryan Pate, Ricky Sahu, Chris Dockery, Julian Hollar, and Carson McWhorter are all gone. From webb, the only three I know are Hunter Pearson, Otis Walker, and Spencer Watters. Those are the knoxville teams.

I'm sure that this has been posted before, bu do you think there is a possibility of lacrosse becoming sanctioned. If so when. I will put up a poll to see what you think.

Ya I wanted to see them win too. Especially after that stick check. In all of my 6 years of lacrosse, i have never seen anything that bad. And then the coach said that he had it checked before the game. That is no reason to complain. In the second game, Duke beat cornell 11 to 8. So the final four is set. The matchups are Johns Hopkins vs. Virginia Duke vs. Maryland. The second game is a rematch of the ACC championship. What does everyone think about there being 3 acc teams in the finals.

There are quarterfinals on again today. The matchups are Maryland versus Georgetown, at 12 and Duke versus Cornell at 8. I may hove gotten the teams messed up, but there are definately games at those times.

If you want to see the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament, at noon there is the first one and the second one is at eight. Those are on ESPNU. Check em out.

The NCAA does use a brine ball that is called the championship ball in the tournament. I don't know if that will ever happen in high school. Considering they are $4 a pop i would guess no. I would love it if they did not because it makes a difference, but because when i steal them off the endline they go for more on ebay .

There is once again a summer leauge in knoxville. All players are invited. It is behind Farragut Middle School. It is Sundays at 6. Come on out and improve your game.

I have to agree with all of you grapski can really hit. He's also a classy guy that is smart as well as an incredible athlete. I played with him some when I was in middle school. I wish him luck wherever he goes.

ya that is really suprising especially to me becuase they did nothing to us. Conrad was good, but askew didn't even win any faceoffs or score or do much of anything. All that i know is the knoxville players which are felker, bates, askew, conrad, and someone else. The D1 were grapski, morgan, and fanjoy all from farragut.

For D2, all i know is that Cris Bates and Matt Felker got honorable mention for west knox. Also, Trip Conrad and Tayler Askew got second team for webb knoxville. I would assume that the rest of the team is filled with ravenwood, brentwood, franklin, and cordova's players. But what do i know.

Not to diss you or anything, but is that the sticks fault or the stringers fault? But i do agree with you about the refs. When our game with ravenwood was still close, they called two penalties that i think changed the course of the game. But like i said before, we can't rag on them because thats all we have and without them, we wouldn't be playing.

Hey do you guys know who the refs were. Cuz there are two of them that I just can't stand. One of them is dean, the weird one with the glasses. For one thing, he called one of our JV games when we were wearing black, and he said blue every time. For another, he likes to watch individual players. Another one is the one with the long hair. He gets very tempermental for seemingly no reason. Even though i just did it, we don't need to be ragging on the refs because without them, we couldn't play. Peace PS Franklin gets my vote for classiest team. We were with you guys in the stands for a while, and you were perfectly polite. All the parents were raving about you. Sorry you lost to Lussane/cordova. Did anyone else think that the refs stunk at our game vs ravenwood?

Does anyone know who won the games for both D1 and D2. Once we get that established, does anyone have any picks? Holla
