I have to give it to Sycamore. They played some tough teams early in the season and settled into a great district run. One loss in district and none since. The pundits made the claim they would lose to Whites creek, Maple would and would be crucified by East Lit... Those predictions fell on deal ears. Sycamore is VERY deep and I think they will be very hard to beat at home tomorrow night. I would also say that the region games have been some of the best spectator games I have ever seen. The fans are getting value for money for sure. One last word, I was very impressed with East Lit. It is always great to see players working hard and also showing good sportsmanship, for example, whether its called a charge or block helping the player on the floor up;.. Nice to see and I hope to see them play again.

Yawn.... Oh hey to all the folk who say sycamore is overrated.... They just won regionals!!!!!!!!!!!! An amazing game.. Sewn up with a rebound and a foul and two free throws with seconds on the clock.... Way to play war eagles!!

Hard to get this info. Most coaches just post the scores not all the stats. I recall several years back a player broke a district 11aa rebounding record. The reality was her coach kept up with it and posted that info onfline and kudos to him for pdoing that for his players! . Its a pity all the coaches dont do this for their players so the stats tell the real story not just the scores.

Sycamore.. Undersized? Really... Biggest/strongest kid i havei seen in the disctrict is 53 on sycamores team..... I really think everyone might have pfigured out how to beat the 1-3-1 now too

Only district loss was to whitehouse. It only stands to reason that when you play decent teams preseason and non district you are going to lose a few. There are teams who can beat sycamore, i just dont see them being in 9aa

Less than 10 threes.. Whitehouse loses... my math was right If you look at the stats you will notice whitehouse won the second quarter, pity no one takes the time to call in the full stats. Whitehouse went to the free throw line at least 8 times in the quarter. They won the quarter from the free throw line not the flloor. I though the whitehouse coach was gonna burst a blood vessel after the game tho, he kept staring into the Sycamore Fans?

Your crazy, on which given night did macon westmoreland goodpasture and greenbrier beat sycamore, and only whitehouse scraped in one win which they couldnt repeat.. Call me crazy but I think beating EVERYBODY except Whitehouse twice makes sycamore clear favorites!

The foul count was a bigger deal for Sycamore than WH was I thought, the one Ref seemed to worship whitehouse (or hate syacamore). REfs called 25 on Sycamore and 15 were in the first half. If not for that and a better Free throw performance it would have been a 30 plus point win. I have heard folk say that its tough to beat a team three times for years. My observation have been that its far easier to lose a third time than win when you have already lost twice. I look forward to the games at vol state where SOME teams wont have the advantage of having their student section behind the visiting teams basket in the first half either....

Sycamore easily handled whitehouse tonight, final score 80 to 65. I feel so bad for wh losing on homecoming and senior night lol

Whitehouse only beat sycamore in the 3point department. Score wise three points better in the first three quarters and 4in the fourth. If you happens to notice the stats Froeden doesnt do it all by himself..
