I spoke to a friend at halftime who was at the game and he said Bolivar hasn't looked this intense warming up all year. He said you could see a different look about them.

One game doesn't prove one team, or player, is better than another. Why wasn't the first time they met a blowout? Is BA a better team: YES. Are Willie and Wayne "good players like alot of other west tn ball players?" NO. "Good", or average, don't win back-to-back state titles. "Good" players don't get scholarships from highly ranked D-1 basketball programs. It's amazing how fast people forget what those 2 players have acomplished together at Bolivar. The good news is that we will all have the opportunity to watch them again next year and maybe they will redeem themselves...on ESPN.

Firefulmer I'll have a box of popcorn and root for the Tigers for you man! My daughter is a cheerleader for the Tigers so I have to "suffer" and go to just about all of their games! lol

I was there also and just knew the game was over when Willie ran over Jones because I thought for sure the ref was going to call a charge. I was surprised as anyone, but to also call a continuation and give the basket was a real surprise. But as everyone else has said, there was more than one bad call last night. There will not be a game played without a bad call. Especially one as fast paced as last nights game. We were just lucky enough to catch the break at the right time. I believe Coach Rudesill was correct last night when he said this will just add "fuel to the fire" with Liberty. Great game to both teams! I have a strange feeling that Bolivar will meet Liberty again this year. lol
