I play DII and have not had very much experience with DI so i may be way off on this but, it seems like to me CBHS has a huge chip on their shoulder.

Last year when we(CHS) played Farragut he single handedly manhandled our entire team and he is probably one of the fastest players i have ever seen. He came across the midline and leveled one of our dmen. He was six feet off the ground and parallel to it. Hands down the best hit i have ever seen in lacrosse.

Yeah, the revo and evo pro are way too pinched. When u play with either one (More so the evo) the top of the head gets real narrow and if u dont watch it the head can become less than 6.5 inches wide so u cant play with it. One of our attackmen has a rocketpocket it has great hold and a great release(really smooth). but personally i dont like it because it is really heavy and u can't feel the ball in the stick: plus when u shoot it or pass u cant feel it come out because there is no "bump" at all. just personal preference though i use a torque with 6 diamond mesh

I Beg to Differ, the thread name is "all-state teams" not team. I am sorry if u are dyslexic and did not realize an "s" on the end of a word makes it plural. I am sure you will do closer reading in the future. I thought some of the DII all state team picks were very interesting (Defense!), but I agree ravenwood should have had a bigger representation.

The NCAA plays with the new brine grippy ball. Is high school going to move to the grippy ball any time soon? Do club teams in the SELC or anywhere else play with normal or grippy balls?

I have a partial list in "DII championship: Also, all state" but it is only people that i talk to so it is very limited

thanks for the compliment it means alot You guys came out real strong in the second half. great game for L/C (Seems like Lausanne Cordova has been haunting me for the past 3 years)(when i played FHS/CHS: L/C beat us my sophmore year in state, won state my junior year, and kicked us out my senior year. lol oh well PS what # r u Laxmidi

I couldnt tell there was a 5 minute period where everyone went nuts we had 3 people in the box, our coach just about killed the head ref, and it was complete madness on both sides. I dont think anyone really knew what was going on because like 50 things happened at once and i didnt even think it was a dirty game(although powers did lose his temper once) but the refs were throwing people out and gave us like 10+ minutes in penalties(3 minutes of that was cuz of robert harshmans(#1) illegal stick) (every single evo pro i have ever seen ends up being illegal if u play with it long enough)

Did you guys have 2 or 1 players kicked out?

Thanks Catterton you played a great game as well. I think you are one of the number one reasons brentwood had such a great team this year. It seems as if our team has come leaps and bounds from where we were at the beginning of the season, we probably played (as a team) our best games all season this weekend and it seems like we are only getting better every game. We were an expansion team this year and most of this years starters never even touched the field when were Chs/Fhs. I think it just took some time for all of the Sophmores and Juniors to come out of their shell and get used to playing with one another. Great season Bwood im sure you will have a great team next year p.s. could this weekend's reffing be any worse those refs were terrible

I would be happy if either one of them played on my team. I think it may come down to a coin flip for 1st and 2nd honors

How do the quarter finals work out? Is it a round robin tournament and only one team will advance to championship weekend?

Tough Loss CHS. A lot of mixed emotion for me. RHS had to beat CHS for us(FHS) to make the playoffs, but i didnt want to see my buddies (Joe, Jack, Jamie, Alan, and Ryan) end their season early. Sometimes i wish we never would have split (we might have even been able to give RHS a run for their money.) Congrats to ravenwood especially Rhs goalie, John Wilson, and #5 I think its Phillip Burke John wilson u have really turned into an amazing player maybe we'll get far enough in the tournament so that u and trey haley will get to go one on one Props to RHS for Great Ball movement it was an exciting game to watch Jack, Ryan, Joe, Jamie, and Alan great season im sure ill see u guys around especially Joe you guys know u'll always be # 1 in my heart

Catterton you are a good goalie (one of the best DII goalies), but it is a little strange you would post stats about yourself Besides goalie stats are always messed up. The only way you can determine if a goalie is good is to play against him.

What is the Deal with DII playoffs for the quarter finals? Who is goin to playoffs from central division?

I am planning on playing club at Vandy. Anyone else planning on playing there?
