I have to give both teams credit for getting this far. I don't think there is a better bunch of fans than the RaptorNation fans. I know the team appreciates the fan participation and it's truly incredible to watch and listen to them. When they all start chanting WE BELIEVE it's such a motivator for the team. Make no mistake it depends on which team really wants to win. I think the Raptors have something to prove to themselves as well as everyone else that they are as good if not better than last years team. Per capita they have an incredible amount of talent and an unbelievable amount of HEART. I'm thinking the Raptors will get it done!!!!! Come on RAVENWOOD lets do this!!!!!!!!!

Stop complaining about media coverage. It really doesn't matter. The thing that matters most in a football game is who wins the game. A team that continues to win will eventually get the coverage they want. Nothing wrong with flying under the media radar.........

BWOODMOM in answer to your somewhat stupid question yes it was a pair of jeans. While not everyone from Ravenwood agreed with the punishment that TC received you need to remember that team leaders are exactly that TEAM LEADERS and therefore need to act accordingly. People who live in glass houses should not through rocks.......... I doubt very seriously that Brentwood is perfect off the field.

McNine4MVP the answer to your question is yes Laidlaw's father was a running back for Stanford and then the Dallas Cowboys. I guess maybe it is genetic. However; it really doesn't matter because Laidlaw is a great athlete period. He has speed and great vision on the field. What a workhorse for the Raptors. Defense for the raptors is unbelievable. Ford may be small but he is big on making plays...... This team wants to go to State again!!!!!!

I think Ravenwood will be there. Team has a lot of heart and talent. The will to win is a very strong motivator. I predict it will be a tough fight. We will see how badly the Raptors want it......

Should be a great game. I'll have to go with Ravenwood. I think their loss in overtime to Brentwood could be a great motivator. This team is not used to losing. If they can keep the players injury free and with some decent play calling I believe they have a shot. Sonny is a great quarterback no doubt about it. Becker is a good athlete so I'm thinking it should be a great match-up. A win over Smyrna would be exactly what Ravenwood needs. The question is how bad do they want it?????

News flash for you genius you got lucky. I predict Ravenwood will see you again with a totally different outcome. Don't hold grudges from last year. Player for player Ravenwood has more talent in their athletes than the bruins do. Crawford is a good coach no denying that. Imagine what he could do with the athletes on Ravenwood's team. Guess you'd be standing on the sidelines.

Raptor 07 Glad to see you support your team. I guess you are entitled to your opinion. So here's mine. Raptors offense is good. Don't quite know what you mean by slow? Two of the fastest guys around are on the offense in Ayers and Laidlaw. Guess the line needs to help out and open some routes. Might want to practice on the kicking game. Lopez is not consistant. I really hope some of the bigger guys on the O line see your post. Should make them really happy with your support.

Hey 08 I don't think anyone on the raptor team appears to be cocky about State. As i said earlier it's got alot to do with heart. Yes Ravenwood needs to get everyone healthy and play as a team. Athlete wise I believe you have a talented group of guys on the Ravenwood team. More so than last year. Becker will improve now that he's back. Raptors need to work on the kicking!!! Extra points are important. The offense needs to open some holes and get the receivers open. Defense needs to stop the drive. I think when the offense and defense are in sync they could suprise alot of people. The Brentwood game is over. Raptors should learn from it and move on. Losing can be a great motivator. Get ready for the Smyrna game and WIN IT!!!!!

Fear the Spear, I guess only time will tell. The season isn't over till it's over. Strange things happen during playoffs. I believe Ravenwood will be there!!!!

Not afraid of the spear! Ravenwood is a better team than Riverdale. Could have proven it last year but Riverdale lost. We'll see who is in the final game.

I Believe Ravenwood has a fair chance of being in the final game! They have a great running back in Laidlaw and Ayers as a receiver is also good. Hate to tell you but heart has a lot to do with winning and this Ravenwood team has certainly got HEART!!

Picking on DII teams might get ya in the end. Ravenwood moves up to D1 next year. Might surprise you!!!!

Beware Division I Ravenwood High School will move up to Division I next year. I believe they will give all of Division I something to talk about. They have exceptional athletes.
