Jo Byrns will smear Huntland...Cascade will beat Wayne County...Collinwood will handle WH Heritage easily...Mount Pleasant will run away with Forrest. Thats my take on the games for this week. 2-2 split.

Rumor that the new coach is going to be Harold "Red" Roberts former Franklin County and Moore County coach. He is supposed to be going to take over after the first of the year.

I think Devils by 40. Probably another shutout.

I think that MP and Mck they can beat but FC I doubt. FC is for real but they would not meet until the Blue Cross Bowl.

OK... Here is how I see it from a neutral view. Cascade 28-Jo Byrns 20. I think the game will be very exciting. Packed house for sure.

You don't need 4 years for people to know if you are worth keeping as a coach. The young people that are playing the game will respond quickly to a good coach. The players will believe and so will the parents and community. If you are not so good then maybe you should'nt be coaching. I think the players should have a opportunity to succeed. Good coaches do just that.

I would rate this game a toss-up. I do believe that 21 points will win the game.

I will say probably 7-3. I think Cascade and Forrest are better teams right now.

I think this will be a very close game.

I think it will be a close game depending mostly if MC turns the ball over much. If they do it might not be very close. Not sure just how good Eagleville is yet. Homeconing games are tough.

Now that does not look good for Region 6 1A. The region is down a lot from the past.

I'm going with Perry County in a shutout 13-0.

I don't have a rule book but I have seen referees call it before. They warned the band not to play during action. I do believe that is a rule that you can't play while the play is in action. What if someone blows a whistle from the band or bleachers during play? I think this rule is cover that.

All this being said, just be glad that both teams were unbeaten going in to last nights game. Big crowd and lots of excitement. Somebody was going to win. Cascade has a better team. Thats just good ole smash mouth high school football the way it should be. Both teams will win a lot more games this year.

This is the first time that I can remember that Cascade and Chapel Hill are both unbeaten when they play. What is the world coming to? I'll pick Cascade in this one.

It may take some overtime play to settle this one. Fourth week in the season combined record of 0 WINS.... Has this ever happened before? The game is being played at Huntland so I am going with the Hornets in this one. Should be a close game.

No... not at all. It was a political move. Head Coach now is a best buddy to previous School Supt. Previous Head Coach is offensive cordinator now. He wants the Head coach job back so a little back stabbing going on. Probably at the end of the year all three coaches will be replaced. No one really wanted the Head coach that we have now.

The Tigers will have a easy time against the Raiders. Looks like the Raiders are in for a long sesaon this year. The Raiders are suffering like the Tigers did a few years ago with very poor coaching.

Trousdale County....Coach Satterfield both the Class of the show.

I'll go with Collinwood by a score of 35-14. I think this will be the first time Eagleville has been in the play-offs.

1. Trousdale (Best coached team in 1A) 2. TIE- Mt. Pleasant and South Pittsburg, very similar teams. 3. Probably a half dozen or more different teams.

Moore County has good enough players to beat Collinwood but the Raiders are playing without much emotion. The Raiders are just wanting to get the season over right now. Colinwood by 12 points.
