  1. Oak Ridge did have a good season and in more than a couple peoples opinions the best coach in the district, possibly the region. I have no doubt that he is one of the best in the region. Jason Nichols did pitch a good number of pitches but he wouldve told Coach Froning if he needed to get out. Jason also can handle throwing that many pitches. Later in the game he shut Halls down better than ever. He pitched that good after throwing that many pitches. Halls just cant take the loss. Froning will not resign because their is no reason. He wont get fired either because the only way he could get fired is if Jason's parents complained about throwing him too many pitches. I dont think that they will do that. Jason shut down Halls thats all it is.
  2. Oak Ridge did beat you all on Saturday. Does anyone realize O.R. only has two seniors. How many does Halls have?? Halls is solid from Munsey to Portwood but after that, it is more like a liquid.
  3. Oak Ridge was breaking a rule but the rule doesnt state that Oak Ridge has to forfeit. At worst, TSSAA shouldve came up with a different punishment.
  4. You all can just tell Dougie that his team got beat with Lockwood on the mound that was just it. If it wasnt in a tournement he wouldnt have had a thing to do about his team getting beat. Halls just got BEAT, period!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Oak Ridge isn't getting the respect they need. They played Farragut in a throwback game and beat them 7-4. They are made up of mostly juniors, two seniors and sophmores, and one freshman. They have a lot of talent and could play with any one in the area. Their ace Jason Nichols can pitch with the best of them as I have seen. Aaron Vargas leads off the lineup and is a tough out to get. Jake Vane is swinging the bat well. Cody Jones is making awesome plays in the outfield. Eric Barclay is having another great year hitting over .400 and playing good defense. The only freshman on the team, Mason Guymon, starts catching and has a 1.9 pop time as a freshman. That may not sound that great but this kid is only a freshman and a young one at that, only 14 years old. Overall, I think that you should watch out for Oak Ridge because they can play with the best of them.
