all TC did was play football. So how are you gonna blame the second and third sting for wanting to play hard? I mean, its not like TC passed the ball all that much! If you cant stop someone from running the ball and scoring every time they touch it, then you dont belong on the field! So everyone get off TC's case, TC was just that much better, I dont hear anyone bickering about Tx Tech putting up 70 point on teams and then claiming they are going to put 100 on Indiana St.(I think) if you are that much better then tyhere is nothing you can do. SO where is the crime in playing football?

jwhite, TC wont win by 7 td's over Gordonsville, TC will win by at least 4 though I believe, maybe 5, but not 7.

and thats where the run ends. Gordonsvile won't get past round 2.

I doubt there is any way SP beats TC in the quarterfinals b/c they aren't going to get there. FC will lose to TC in the quarterfinals, and I seriously doubt LV is that much improved.

this will be the second year in a row that Gordonsville has not hosted a playoff game. I have only seen Gordonsville play once, and haven't seen LV play at all. I don't get on here much, so I can't make a good prediction, but I can say that I do think TC will win the state. As far as this game goes...it's a toss up

I may be wrong, but oh well, we will see. Haven't they won more games this season than the last 10 seasons combined? They did have a quarteback that made some plays but he was a senior the last time these 2 schools played. Oh well, there is like 2 weeks left.

actually wrong bigbody! the winner of the LV-G-ville game will play the winner of TC-Temple, which will be TC I'm sure, and besides, I don't think LV is that much improved from a 1-9 season. Gordonsville is way down from that year we beat them 50-0

Just saw that Gordonsville will play Lookout Valley. I this the same Lookout Valley team that lost to Gordonsville 50-0 in the first round 3 years ago? I see that they have a considerably better record than the 1-9 mark they had since their last playoff appearance. So what does everyone think? Will region 4 sweep region 3. I personally think South Pitt will be the only region 3 team left after next weekend.

Ok, so I was just looking at the layoff possibilities and saw that in region 4 Gordonsville will finish 3rd for the 2nd straight year, and was looking at who they would play from region 3 and to my surprise saw Lookout Valley would be the team they would face. Now these 2 teams met about 3 years ago in the first round of hte playoffs to have Gordonsville win in a rout 50-0. Now will this game end up like 3 years ago? Is the former 1-9 Lookout Valley team that much improved 3 years later? I know its kind of early to start talking about playoff matchups but just wanted to get some insight. Oh, and could Region 4 sweep Region 3? which region is better? Region 4 does have the best team in the state in 1a(not to mention Trousdale Co. could be the best team in 2a)...let me know what you think.

The only game I have seen this year was the Carthage game, and we won't go into how awful they looked. Tonight's outcome depends on how well they prepared. Good luck to both teams. And anyone who is asked to start their first game at quarterback, as a freshmen, against the number 1 team in the state, in not only 1a, but I think they could be the number 1 team in 2a as well, has got to have guts!

did smith play last friday? how did he do? I say G-ville by a little, how did w'town fare against FC?

i heard smith was ok'd to play but wasn't sure if it was true, i just hope he wasn't rushed back onto the field, good luck to G-ville tonight, oh any updates on the score?

excuses excuses. man I have heard alot of them, but the air, that's a first. and back on the subject of jamborees, Hartsville lost their jamboree, but didnt seem to have any problem handling lafayette.

Gordonsville has never really posed well in Jamborees. I personally never liked them, but it is a good way to raise money. no doubt it is going to be a battle for 48 minutes. I just hope the "RIGHT" team wins!

Maybe if matnord had them condition more, they wouldnt have cramped up as much. oh, and what is up with a lot of the carthage players wearing gloves and underarmour armbands and wristbands in their pictures in the Courier this week? I swear, I thought it was an Underarmour advertisement

her son graduated in 2003. it is 2005, how is that a long time ago? and cheesecake has been mad at the coaching staff for a while now right??she blames them for us not wining state in 2001-2002, season or the 2002-2003 season.
