I watched the game tonight and i really dont see how page pulled one out on them. This game was dominated from tipoff to the last shot by Giles County.But i got to give it to Page they never gave up like most of the teams in the district that would put their freshman in after the 1st quater.That shows that Page and GC WILL represent in the regional tournaments

i feel the same way about COACH J as you guys do now, when i heard he just used giles county as a pit stop all i have to say is BGA if you dont go 10-0 or 9-1 next season youll be looking for a new head coach again.Ive lost a ton of respect for Coach Johnson and talkin to some of the players they felt that coach j just gave up on them because 2 of the 3 best players left and they think he did it for the money(which he really did) And its kind of funny he's the Terrell Owens of High School football

Tim Johnson is out of GCHS.He made it offical today with the team.And if thats bad for GCHS i also got information that Sam Edgmon(#8) probably the best player on the team of 2006 is moving to Battle Ground Acadamy i also heard that Tim Johnson is going to BGA too I also heard that alot of players were going to quit because they felt like Coach J just gave up on them and they dont believe they could win without him and it would go right back to the recent Giles County teams. This is probably real good news for other teams in 5-3A but a big blow for the Bobcats. (sorry other GCHS fans if some of this is not true but if you know more on this please post them!!!)

Im from Giles County and i was just wondering why the high scores, around here your lucky to see 80(in OT)

If you look at some of the teams in west TN most of those scores are in high 90's and 100 every night. I came down to this:1 West TN is an offensive power 2 West TN has terrible defense 3 The three point line is 4 or 5 feet closer or4Memphis Grizzles send some of their players back to HS

N E one remeber about 5 or 6 yrs ago when giles beat richland like 120 to like 18(not the real score but i know giles broke 100 in like the beginning of the 4th quater) and it was like 3 or fights during the game and like 2 or 3 parents got thrown out of the gym thats probably why they dont play and what culleokarep said

your right PAGEFAN i do look like an idot but thats not going to keep me from posting again. Page played a great game and like page man said GC could not stop or do anything in the paint.But im not worried at this point. We will be playing you guys at least 2 or 3 times before its all over (i guess this game was payback from football)

there must be alot of page fans who like to do BIG ONES because page has no chance against giles county GC is like on a 40-50 game district winning streak and i dont think its going to be stopped anytime soon. GC's Record :12-5(not 9-4)

i heard at tonights basketball game that he was a senior(DANG!!!). One of the coachs told me that he getting letters from to North Alabama and Tennessee Tech. is ne one else in 5-3A going to college

I heard the other day that this guy was 16yrs old until like the last game of the season and i forgot what grade he was in does anybody know if he is coming back next season. (SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME HE IS A JUNIOR)

U are exactly correct but arent u forgeting something GC got like 2 touchdown's called back in the game too. One was a punt return and another was that interception returned for about 80yds. So im not picking NE bodys side but both teams were flagged out of big plays. People are making it look like that Creekwood lost because of penaltes from what i saw 2 of those 4 touchdowns that were called back were in the same drive.Giles also has terrible defense in the second half so that had alot to do with the comeback at the end

who is the best QB in midstate AAA

IM not picking this game because both the teams are about the same but if i had to pick one it would be Cheatham they have alot of seniors i heard and they run the football alot im pretty sure Cheatham has some players to look for but the impact players for GCHS is #10 Brandon Myles-VERY FAST and can make plays with the ball #8 Sam Edgmon - isnt faster than Myles but has great vision and quickness and is like #9 in the midstate in rushing

this was a great game all the way to the end both teams played much better defense. GC once again took themselves out of the game with stupid penltys and turnovers. LC played a solid football game and i dont think they turned the ball over once. Giles County blocked its first punt in like 10 years and BJ Englett dragged like 6 players for about 13 yds into the endzone

Both teams played great offense both using smashmouth offense but like some said before mistakes kill if football were a perfect mistake free game the game would ended up like 100 to 99. Neither Defense showed up until the last quater(Probably because it wasnt like 110 degrees ) Before i moved to Giles County i use to follow alot of 1A schools and by far Mt. Pleasnt is the best 1A school ive ever seen before.Seriously i think Pleasent can play with any 3A school.
