  1. Thanks, Coach G. Really appreciate all the effort to put this together. Really proud of our Loudon boys - and one in particular - you know who you are! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. Sure do wish these coaches would get moving on finishing this list! /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Sorry that you're having so many problems, Coach G!
  3. If one is our coach, let me know and I'll make a phone call tonight.
  4. I will try again. Does anyone know if the All-District players have been announced for: Catholic CAK Loudon Oneida Oliver Springs Scott Co. Stone Memorial Anderson Co. Kingston All of District 4? Big G? Anyone?
  5. Anyone know if the All-District or All-Region players for District 4 A/AA have been announced yet?
  6. Sorry! Caught me snoozing! Haven't had time to get on here today. Madrid, thanks for posting the score.
  7. Glad to help! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  8. Loudon - 5 Anderson Co. - 0
  9. Ouch! Hope not! That would be awful.
  10. Good - I didn't see anything out of the ordinary either. Very good game tonight. Congrats Loudon!
  11. I didn't see anything, but it was mentioned that one of the players was red carded after the game. Any truth to that or does anyone know?

  14. I'm not sure about that, but the Sweetwater soccer coach that I know is Don Layman, a teacher at Sweetwater High School.
  15. Elmer, our keeper is a senior this year. He is amazing in the goal!
  16. Well, our team certainly helped with sending a few over the fence, too! I just hope he isn't allergic to poison ivy!
  17. Thanks for the kind words, Big G. Your team is, as always, very skilled. Have to ask thought - how many soccer balls do you lose in a season? Had to be at least 6 or 7 sail over the fence last night!
  18. Why don't you go back to the football section and play with all the other "little boys" who can no longer walk straight from all their injuries (or their beer gut), or talk straight from all the head injuries and relive your glory days. If you weren't in the band, don't bother those who were. It's just jealousy that brings you to this forum.
  19. And yet, now that I've been out of high school for many years, the guys I went to school with sit around and relive their "glory days" of when they played football (but now can't run 10 feet without being out of breath), and I can still play an instrument as well, if not better, than I could in high school. And before you berate me for being a sissy and not playing football, I'm female, so don't go there. I still have killer calf muscles from marching all those years ago and taking care of myself now. Yes, marching band is a sport. Period.
  20. Anyone know if they have named the All District 4-AA team yet? Keep watching for it in the Knoxville News-Sentinel, but nothing printed yet. Hoping that Loudon's goal keeper, Matt Ward, was named. Really proud of how well he played this season.
  21. Sorry, can't remember all of them, but do remember Jordan Rorex of Anderson County, and from Loudon was Ben Everett, Daniel Laughlin, and MVP Grant Gasper. There were a couple more from Anderson Co. and the other teams were well represented, too.
  22. I say that I'm sad to see the Nation go, but if you only do what you do for yourselves and not for our team, then it wasn't for the right reason in the first place. I love our team, I love our school, I was as proud to have been a graduate of LHS as I am to have my children graduate from LHS too. But I would never think of not cheering for our team just because you were asked to move up a row and cheer, instead of cheering on the floor. It won't be boring, because our teams light up the gym with the way they play, and I hope they continue to play well, with or without your support. I love the Redskin Nation, but if you want to be selfish and take your ball and go home because you have to play by the rules instead of how you want to play, so be it. Redskin Pride!
