  1. Not that it involves 2 teams in the district, but Sevier County tops Seymour 24-23, no not a typo. SC didnt have a homerun, i think Seymour had 5
  2. Every team qualifies, and the top 2 teams host the tournament at their fields. Not quite sure if this is right, but i think the brackets include 1, 3, 5, and 7 with the other bracket 2, 4, 6, and 8. Dont take my word for that one, im not sure if thats 100%
  3. probably good for Heritage, with the Ads comin off the loss to Bearden i wouldnt wanna be the first team to play them. Buttt SC gets the privelage tomorrow night
  4. Sevier County defeats William Blount 9-0 Flynn hits 2 homeruns, a grand slam and 3 run homerun, and Wear throws a 1 hitter
  5. Sevier County beat Maryville 8-4 last night
  6. Heard one of the Honduran kids was clocked at 87...butttt not completely sure on that, id have to see it to believe it
  7. im still scratching my head... /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> Good ole Flynn...he ripped a double off the Bearden wall in the 1st inning Wednesday night, then i cant remember what he did after that. That was a long game. So how has GP done this first week?
  8. SC defeats Bearden in a thriller 11-10 and WB over LC 5-4
  9. Where did you get 1-0? then senior year in scrimmages we beat them 13-1 and like 9-0. Yeah they were scrimmages, but they never replaced any starters. maybe one. and by Oponents, do you mean Opponents? I am not knocking GP. at all. Theyve had their share of good players. Some of whom im friends with. Problem is, so has Pigeon Forge and Rutledge. Theyve just had the better teams. I hope GP does great this year. I really do. And Pigeon Forge. Maybe this year Grainger will have an off year and GP will prevail with the Tigers on top.
  10. LC - 7 SC- 5 /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" bad defense
  11. I love BASEBALL, it could be any team ill talk about. Ive posted and talked about Farragut too, just so happens that SCHS is who i see alllll the time, so if someone wants to know about the team, i fill them in. Im not the only one doing it.
  12. lol im not gonna argue that /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> consider the talent in our district compared to the talent in that district. everytime we went up against GP it was a blowout, even had a no hitter at smokies stadium when we played them there.
  13. Sevier Co. will be tough this year, as well as the usual Farragut and Bearden. I think those will be the top 3, then Maryville and William Blount battling it out for 4th. And who knows with the rest.
  14. i played for Sevier County, and his junior year, Tony Delmonico one hopped a homerun onto our school over the right-center field wall. Not that you were referring to that Delmonico, but i figured id throw that in there anyway. Then Stallings hit 2 shots my senior year. One went over our clubhouse in left field without even hitting the roof. And its 330 down the line (i think) and he just cleared the building. Then at Farragut he hit one over the left center field wall and it was still rising when it went over.. im surprised i didnt hear any brakes squealing on kingston pike out there.
  15. lollll or william blount..its about 295 down the right field line. Farraguts wall says what...365 in center? maybe im wrong, its been a while since ive seen it. But when i played out there against them it seemed a whole lot further than what it was. Farraguts dimensions may be a little close down the lines, but ive never thought after one of the players hit a homerun, "well if it wasnt for that short porch..." Every homerun i have seen hit by any Farragut player has been legit. And ive seen ALOT of Farragut homeruns, all the way back from Waldrop, to Stallings now.
  16. the 'Kees were just sick that year. They were stacked
  17. Look for Sevier County to be even more improved this year.
  18. for once, i agree with you that would be PitTman grammar boy
  19. My grammar has nothing to do with this thread. I'm sorry everything wasn't capitalized that was supposed to be, and im sorry that i didn't use proper punctuation when it was needed. I was in a rush and just wanted to make my point. Is this better for you? Main Point: Applepants is a moron.
  20. well 2 years ago PF was dominant i dont know why we didnt play them..granted they probably woulda won..a team with 8 seniors is going to be dominant 9/10 times especially with a player such as Cannon..i wasnt the head coach, i didnt make the decisions. so dont ask me i was just a player. well good for you im glad you claim to know such things. im not involved with that kind of stuff, and i never asked why we didnt play them.
  21. at the Lenoir City/Sevier County game last week in the 4aaa tournament there were about 7 kids atop Farragut's wall for Lenoir banging on the top of the wall and yelling stuff at our pitcher and coaches, along with yelling some pretty bad stuff at our outfielders. Coach had to scream as loud as he could to get the attention of our outfielders to shift according to the batter. Farragut has that hollow wall that echoes when a ball is hit off of it, so imagine all these kids banging on it as hard and as fast as they could..just annoying. LC is a good bunch of guys and dont need people like that doing that kind of stuff.
  22. you dont even belong in this thread, dont worry about it anyway.
  23. well he never blew it by me...and he didnt blow it by the freshman that hit the triple to win the game
  24. lol nice one big D We beat Harveston last year when i played and when we werent hitting nearly as well nearly as well as we did this season. Sure this team could take care of business.
