  1. And what other sports are these "athletes" dominating? It sure isn't basketball or football...maybe track or table tennis?
  2. Did you not just do the same?
  3. Bravo, thank you for realizing what Pigeon Forge baseball is or at least was all about.
  4. You do not have to reply with "Pigeon Forge is going to be great this year" to every post. I agree they could be a good team and I am probably as qualified to say that as you are, but just chill and let the kids play. Be humble.
  5. You talk too much, especially for someone who doesn't play or coach and just hangs around the team. Please shut your mouth and let things unfold as they will.
  6. If that is true my prediciton is: Everyone else........Sevier County
  7. That is untrue Caleb Moore is actually playing at Tennessee Wesleyan and several others probably could have played at other small schools in the area if they so desired. I think Pigeon Forge will be decent and hopefully better than everyone thinks, but you are replacing seniors that started for 3 years (some that had been playing together and practicing basically year round since 7th grade) and went to consecutive state tournaments with unproven freshman and unexperienced players. I wish the best for Pigeon Forge but your argument is flawed and your bias is blinding you to the truth of the situation (part of that is being a father).
  8. Meant to be sarcastic, hard to do that on the internet.
  9. Except for the past two years of course and possibly this year, who knows
  10. Baseball is somewhat of a team game...
  11. More firepower? Better pitching? Wow...I wish Pigeon Forge the best but losing 3 of your top 4 pitchers and 6 of your 7 hitters will be tough.
  12. The loss of the coaching staff, plus a major D1 player, and 8 seniors is a lot to overcome. Rutledge returning most of their players but heres to hoping for the best.
  13. I must say I doubt Seymour would lose to either Sevier County or Lenior City. Just because a team is AAA does not make them a better team by association.
  14. "Also, I dont work a midnight shift anywhere, you must be gettin me confused with your mom and girlfriend, if you have one." Nice comeback
  15. yeah, I was a junior this year. Congrats to all and see you next year, this topic should die and more important things should be discussed.
  16. nothing more needs to be said on this subject really. what should be more important is what happened on the field not in the dugout or what the fans said. Congrats to all on a great season and see you next year
  17. that is a dumb thing to say, I doubt anyone from SC could pitch well enough to hold SD under 7 or 8 runs
  18. I am the second baseman that got knocked out... the whole thing started when our catcher got angry when I didn't cover on a delayed steal. He then preceded to tell us to cover the bag several different occasions as if I didn't know. As the inning ended I told him to shut up and stop trying to show me up. He said something back and then I apparently said something along the lines of "you haven't thrown out many other people all year"(I blacked out not remebering anything after the end of the inning). As I was stooping down to get into the dugout he knocked me out. Next thing I remember is someone handing me a bag of ice and asking if I was ok. I did not even see him punch me. Then after I went to get on deck one inning he acted like he was gonna hit me with a bat(heard from several teammates). The kid was kicked of the team for anger issues this fall and 3-4 years ago was punished and thrown out of the dugout for his temper. I do not know what is wrong with him but he apologized but told a teammate he was not sorry for it. If you know me and this certain player you would know I have been nothing but nice to him, allowing him to spend the night at my house while he was having family problems. I do not know what his problem is but I do know he has lost one of his friends and supporters because of this... I am sorry but I had to get that off my chest and this seemed like a good time. I might not should have insulted his ability to throw people out, but if the same person had told me I cannot field a ground ball or I cannot hit I know that I would not have punched him. I am sorry if what I said was so bad but that was a dumb, immature thing to do. hmm, a glancing punch that knocked me out and made it where I could hardly eat for the next 2 days... yeah it just glanced right of my face
