  1.     Does anyone think Brandon Gray will agree to play McNairy Central next season?  He chose to not to play the Bobcats when the schedules were made two years ago.

I do not think he will play McNairy Central. If he can get five non-region games without playing his county rival, he will skip it for the next two years.

He and McNairy coach Brian Franks are friends and that may make a difference.

  2. You call that a cheap shot. Why are you so sensitive?  You are a Travel Ball team that does it better than anyone else.

You need a program at the games to just to allow your home fans to know who is playing this week. #8 John Doe QB  He played for two years at a prep school in Oregon and moved her to play for the Red Rage. We are unsure where he is living this week, so we will just leave that part blank.

  3. The Adamsville fans are so paranoid they get upset when you say something positive about their team. I guess the TCA loss from last year still haunts them. We know their arrogant players do not intimidate TCA.

Adamsville football is a good thing for McNairy's Chamber of Commerce. They continually bring in families that just happen to have good football players as sons. It may become a problem now because more of them are living outside the county!

  4.     It is only mid-October, but there is little doubt that Adamsville and Trezevant will meet in the Class 2A state semifinals. The two were supposed to collide last year, but TCA spoiled the party. TCAIntense has not settled down yet from his greatest win ever with the Lions.

A big deal this time will be the unbeaten Cardinals will get the Shelby County power at home. That has to be a positive for the Cardinals.

The brackets are not out, but it will be interesting to see where Trezevant ends up in the bracket after their forfeit saga last month.

  5. RedRage1990, what would you do if someone stuck their thumb in your eye? You would likely take a swing at the person that done it. On film, facts do not lie.

I do not go into women's bathrooms, but I think there are two sides to that story.

There is one AHS coach bitter that he was never asked to be a coach at his alma mater MCHS. He was in the middle of most of the problems in the stands and his daddy gave 'his' side of the story on Facebook.

Our coach was kicked out because the referee thought he was yelling at him and not the players. When he got ejected, he got his monies' worth.

  6. cardfan, the simple truth is both teams had an open date on the same night. No games had to moved for them to play. Just admit that AHS wanted to play a good team, but not a great team team. The poor Adamsville fans just do not like facts.

Adamsville would beat McNairy. But MCHS would have played and AHS would not play. Now, which team had you rather be?

  7. If you want to read a story about a great young lady that was named McNairy Central's homecoming queen this past Friday, check the link below. Sara Jo Hurst has a rare condition Costello syndrome. The football seniors voted for her as one of their senior representatives and the students voted her queen.

The story has gone viral after television stations in Memphis and Birmingham posted the story.

  8. TCAIntense, our friend has some issues. Envy, jealousy, lack of football knowledge. It could be all three.

I do not think his team wants any part of Milan or Dyersburg. The Bolivar-Raleigh Egypt game was so big that one side of the stadium had maybe 10 sitting in them.

  9. The 'Big Boys' league is topped by Milan, Dyersburg, South Gibson, and Liberty. McNairy has lost to two of them and will lose to the other two when they play later this month. If your team is brave enough, they have the option of joining that league next season. Want to bet that does not happen?

You seem to overlook the fact many families choose to go on vacation during fall break. The boys normally do not make decisions about family vacations.

You did not reply to the part about AHS having the chance to play Liberty. For some reason, you do have trouble with facts. By chance, are you a politician?

  10. TennesseeVol, have you ever put together a high school football schedule? They are done in two-year increments. McNairy Central went through every schedule in West Tennessee and the only school that had an open date for Sept. 30 was Middle College. The Bobcats would have played anyone.

Our county neighbors could have played Liberty because they both had open dates, but the Red Rage did not want any part of the Crusaders. Dyersburg will likely show up on Friday, but they are saving their best player to play against McNairy in the 'big boys' league.

By the way, a league that McNairy requested the TSSAA put them in after being assigned to the Memphis region.

MCHS is not the school that 'bought' games with Middleton. Middle College beat Middleton 53-6 with a running clock for almost half the game.

McNairy is not the school that did not want to play their county rival.

Facts: I know you have a problem with them.
