I will go ahead answer my own post. I went to the Rockwood-Midway game tonight and it was terrible! Rockwood looked like they havent even looked at a softball in years. The defense was filled with errors and there wasnt even an offense good enough to mention, Granted Midway's pitcher did get some pitches called that could not have been strikes on any batter. Rockwood's offense needs a lot more improvement if they want to even think about going to state. Ive heard good things about the softball program at this school but I didnt see any of it tonight. I feel kind of bad for the seniors actually. Maybe they will get it together before tournament time, they have a long way to go but its possible.

Their season has started off a little rocky, Will they get better? How's the players doing?

I do believe this topic was made for the Lady Tigers not the Lady Waves. But Yes Hannah is a good pitcher but she is not as good as everyone has made her to be. She is one of the best pitchers in the league but she is not unhittable. Most teams in the district go from hitting mid-40's to seeing Hannahs pitching in the mid-50's so they have to adjust during their first at bats. The Lady Tigers are ready to see Midway again in the district tournament but no-one can ever tell the outcome.

The Tigers have a good chance this season. But they need to come together as a team. I was watching their game against Midway tonight and it was obvious that this team is divided. This game was filled with errors. I think only two players had no errors and that was the first and second basemen. The Tigers had a few good hits but no one really on base to get the score where it needed to be. If these ladies get it together they'll be at the top of their class.

Rockwood-12 Oakdale-0 Rockwood had very good hitting, almost all up the middle and to the outfield, and a strong defense. Oakdale has a little more work to do in the fielding area, not saying anything bad, but the errors made were basic errors that anyone could make but should not. Grayson didnt do bad pitching but Rockwood was just on a hitting streak. Good Luck to all teams this season!

I know of one girl from Rockwood that hit two home runs at this play day and she did not show any cockiness in any way. I know this girl and I know how she plays, my daughter and her have played on the same team at one point and she has the respect for the other team as it is showed to her by them. I wouldnt doubt that she got excited after her hits but that should not get confused with cockiness. I do not know who the other team is but I do know that there were only two teams that had someone hit it over so I cannot say anything for them.

This could be a good game to watch! But it all depends on which Rockwood Team wants to show up! Rockwood has a solid team if they wouldnt get down when the opponent scores or there is an error made! Come on Rockwood Play like you know how and give the seniors a memory that will last..Win this game and be STATE BOUND!!

The parents of the Dodger team. Talked about going to nationals but they decided it would be to much money. Did you not get it when i said i wasn't whining. Alls i said was that it was pretty unsportsman like to go on the radio and talk smack. Get your facts straight pal! Im through stooping to the level of you yalls stupidity. Dodgers know they are good. Whether you all think it or not.

As i recall wouldyoulike2know said something about how the calls were bad for cross. thats why i said something. Like Oh My God! GROW UP!!! And i wasn't whinnin pal i was makin a statement. And we don't think anything of the HS they come from. But, its very unsportman like to get on a radio station and bash the Dodgers and not to mention very immature! We would never stoop so low as to go on a radio station and talk smack about another team. We have better class than that. As for the Dodgers beating Crossville. Thier bad calls. Otherwise we wouldn't even had to go into extra innings we would have murdered them! "With all do respect" you wasn't at that game, so you really can't say anything about it!

They didn't get on here and say they were the best until someone got on here and started running thier mouth about them. And crossville has alot of ppl they know on that team and its always great to beat them. And another reason. Someone got on a radio station was saying how good they was and they we wasn't. And we had said nothing to this person. So it seems to me "Crossvegas" had a lil beef with us too!

You always saying someone is crying respect! Its old find another come back. And a good one at that! There are maybe 3 ppl on the team from rockwood. The rest are from Maryville! Ain't no one crying respect. You all started on the Dodgers first and they just had something to say about it. Have you seen respect come out in any of thier post..NO! They don't need respect from anyone..they know they can play ball they don't need respect from any of you all. So shut up about the stupid remark "thier crying respect" thats retarded!
