What has happened to WV. I heard they have some really good talent is this true or are they just not very talented? Looks like an 0-10 season when expectations were so high

I know Page tried to schedule Eagleville last year. I also know that Page is looking for a JV game this year. Call Coach Palmer at the school I am sure he would like to play

Ihave to hand to to caoch Palmer for his radio interview with 104.5 friday. He basically said that Josh should play at the next level and for a college team to pass him up because he is white is rediculous. I really believe that is what happened to Herndon last year and I hope it doesn't happen to Mac. I know for a fact college coaches have told Palmer that Josh will not go D-I as a RB because he is white.

Easy there Pagedude I am an Eagles fan because I know many if not all of the Freshman from Heritage. I am also a Page fan in that I have always supported Page and know a lot of there players. I am not bashing Page in any way. Proud of both teams. As far as White House I am excited to see what knid of team they have. What do they run on Offense and Defense does anyone know?

After the way Page played Friday I can't see them having a prayer against a storied program like White House. Everyone keeps talking about Page's O-line but they wasn't to impressive Friday. They have 2 starters out for at least another 3 weeks. They also had a new right tackle from last years team. Page started a player that has never played in High School at gaurd and their tight ends were absolutly aweful. Look for WH to win big!!!! Still love my boys from Page but just calling it as I see it. My Eagles put up quite a fight didn't they.

By the way Page I saw you all take a knee with every team you played last year after the game win or lose and pray. That was awesome and mad props to the players and coaches from Page that organized it. Yes even Marshall and Sycamore players huddled with the Page team to pray kind puts all the trash on these boards into perspective don't you think.

How will they be this year? I know they have had 2 very good freshman classes and with coach Smith some teams could be in for a surprise. We open with Page and although I have much love for the Patriots I think the Eagles will shock all of Williamson County and put it on the Page Patriots. Don't be surprised to see the eagles finish .500 this year.

i heard a rumor that Coach Johnson has been talking to the o-line coach at Page about coming to Giles County. Anybody know anything? That could be huge for Page and Giles he has done a great job building the line at Page. I know they coached together at Franklin one year.

You got on another board that was absoltuely of no concern of yours and started bashing a school that I have been affiliated with in the past. You are the one that keeps getting on boards that you have no affiliation with. I am on the board for one reason and tht is because Page plays White House. I would like to see what White House has coming back but you just keep ruining the board. I have a few ties still at Page and for you to put your stupid posts and idiotic accusations is rediculous. You keep referring to the 60-0 lose that Page put on Sycamore in 1999. Well they had their sophomores in the game the whole 2nd half other than the opening drive. If the Freshamn traveled with varsity then they would have played to. Yes you may have seen a starter or 2 in the game but that was only because the Page team only had 30-35 players on it. When you have such small numbers then you may not have enough at every position to have a 3rd or 4th stringer. But I wouldn't expect such a brilliant football mind as yours to understand that. No I don't take the site to personal but you really should. Look what the people say about you. Are you the only one that cannot see you have a character problem. Your are a loser and I made the mistake in a earlier post a categorizing Sycamore in the same way as you. For that I apologize to Sycamore fans but you are a grade A piece of crap. You were the one that crashed a board that had absolutely nothing to do with you. Austin Peay is a non-scholarship football school "genius"!! They are I-AA only to keep basketball in division I. Hold your Grudge all you want but it must stink going through life being envious. And I guess since you call Page classless that everyone thinks so! You say the only reason Page is playing Independence is b/c they are a new school and can run up the score. Doesn't metter that they are 15 minutes apart and Independence is made up of former Page players. But if you look on Page's schedule you see White House (powerhouse) and Ravenwood (5A powerhouse) so your argument doesn't hold water. You obviously hold a grudge against Page b/c you were on the suckamore team that got drummed by Page. Suckamore has never been able to beat Page. Even last year with the greatest group of seniors and a D1 Qb according to you, you still fell short. By the way were is Garza going? Seemed to be a fine young man which is more than I can say for you. You represent one of the most classless groups of fans in the state. I can promise if you come to Page or Independence you will not have to worry about fans spitting, or threatening you. which is more than I can say for Suckamore. Smith has said himself that in Williamson County they put to much of a work load on the head coaches. From Giles was offering it was a great deal why else would Johnson leave. The only reason he left Ezell was do to his new marriage. Smith is a great man and coach and with the way Willaimson county treats their coaches who would blame him for leaving. Ask some of the other coaches in the county. Crawford of Brentwood is in the same boat. It is not that they do not like the school or the kids it is the system.

I think that anybody going to Independence needs to rethink their committment. Smith is trying to leave. He applied for the Giles Co. job and the Franklin job before pulling his name out. He is a great coach but not happy at IHS. Also here a lot of their students don't like the school. With Brentwood and Page being open-zoned students in the area now have an option. Eubanks is also looking to go somewhere else. They are hurting badly for coaches. With this middle school class moving up they will definitely have some talent on the freshman team but still couple a years away. If I were an athlete I would probably consider Page or Brentwood.

Some "I" and Spread in the championship game. Rumor has it that the Middle School coach wants to move up and coach High School if Rankin gets it.

One thing Rankin would do would go in an clean house. The coaching staff under Brown was very old with several coaches that could retire. One has retired and works on a 100 day contract. Rankin will force his coaches to step up their committment to putting in long hours of breaking down film.
