  1. Wow! What a game. A classic Coalfield Oliver Springs rivalry. There was great heart from both teams. First time Coalfield has won since 1987, but it did feel good to get the W. Brandon Davis ran his heart out and the line blocked their rears off in the 2nd half. It was a game for the record books. Great win Coalfield now get ready to go "South of the River"!
  2. I don't see OS competing with any two A teams either. Besides Wartburg........maybe.
  3. Easy there Bob. He's doin' ok so far. lol
  4. Hope you get a good report. Well, I'm gonna go watch the back of my eye lids. Past my bed time. See ya.
  5. Thanks, Pujo. I hope we meet up with Hampton again this year. Maybe this time you all can make that long haul out of the mountains.
  6. Let's just say I missed playin' hangman with u today.
  7. Hey Bob, I heard you ran into Coalfield's massive second string QB. They way I hear it, you broke your elbow, and he came out without a scratch.
  8. Yeah, the loss of Dustin Carrol and Chris Coker was big for the line, but I think it can be overcome, by a lot of the young talented lineman.
  9. This is true. I mean, anyone that has 2,000 yards on 500 carries and averages 4 yards a run is awesome.
  10. Coalfield has more threats this year, than the past two. They have more talent at their skill positions than they did the year they went to the 4th round. You better not overlook them.
  11. I think Coalfield's defense will be ready for Haynes after he decided that they weren't good enough for him to play with in high school. Don't you think so Bob?
  12. I heard he didn't make the grades and went to Austin Peay.
  13. I agree Bob. It should go down to the wire. Both teams better bring their best, or they'll get sent home packin'.
  14. Rockwood is going to get destroyed and sent home cryin' friday night. I don't see Kingston winning by less than 2 touchdowns.
  15. Last time I checked, Davis had around 160 yards and the game winning touchdown against Oneida.
  16. Hey, I was wondering if Rockwoods Full back found his teeth after our linebackers knocked them out after harriman's jamboree?
  17. I didn't see his 160 pounds running over anybody. It's a lot easier when 2 allstate justice twins are running evryone over before you can even get the handoff.
  18. I agree, they return 8 on both sides of the ball.
  19. I think Jellico is gonna get murdered. They barely beat Oakdale. Sunbright D-railed Greenback last week. They will absolutely destroy Jellico!
  20. Yeah, they beat Oakdale 20-18 in week zero.
  21. The Haynes kid goes for three or four yards a pop. Davis can break a four yard run into a forty yard run by running over people. You don't see the Haynes kid doing that very often.
  22. 1-Alcoa 2-Loudon 3-CAK 4-Sweetwater 5-Rockwood 6-OS 7-Wartburg Alcoa is still the powerhouse, Loudon is good but not enough to win region, CAK is better, Sweetwater returns to the playoffs, Rockwood just misses out, and OS/Wartburg bring up the rear.
  23. 1-Hampton 2-Cosby 3-Unaka 4-Grace Hampton wins this region easily. They return almost everyone on offense. I mean come on, the next best team is Cosby, and I believe Hampton will drill them.
  24. That's a good question c-coach. Maybe 4/4 can tell us.
  25. If Wartburg comes out fired up and ready for the speed of Harriman's lightning quick Wing T offense, then it should be a good game. However, if they come out with the intensity of a turtle (like they tend to do sometimes) then its 0-10 for the dawgs. I'm takin Harriman in a close one. Devils-21 Dawgs-14 (If their pumped)
