  1. Nah it's orange, it's gonna look like Air Force and Oregon St. playin up in hampton..... ...where'd u run off to Ro...i have another class to attend now, u better be back...and you better get the 1,000th post..it's your destiney. Dress warm? You need to dress for a blizzard, the low is 19 up around hampton, and im sure before 9ish ~ it'll be close to the low low 20's. Keith and Ray are sounding better by the minute.
  2. I would almost bet coalfield has just as many, if not more fans at the game...and you'll see what i mean at 7pm.
  3. Was off to the mornin' classes, and i more than likely will be at the game tonight, i have some stuff i gotta get done before the trip. You know my dad will be there in his Steeler's apparrel. Listening to the radio in the comfort of my own home and not in the 19 degree weather is very tempting though, but i've played in this weather before...Can't beat it.
  4. We're never gonna hit that 1,000 mark if you dont post Ro...Get on the ball!
  5. Coalfield heard of horney, they won, Coalfield hears of speed from Harriman, they won with 28 points to zero...At the Half, And yes, Sunbright, and what do you know? Coalfield wins, now the two 290+ pounders...yah we've heard of them....
  6. Good morning'! Few hours away, and much progress in this thread. I'm impressed, and hopefully i'll be impressed with the play of the yellow jackets. Good luck to the team and a safe trip'! ... RSquared, how come you didnt stop by my house and warm up the car for me ? ...
  7. Here's one for you. If it took cloudland 4 quarters to lose to coalfield, and hampton, how many quarter's will it take hampton to lose to coalfield? ... 4 maybe?
  8. Off the subject a bit but something to think about, .... Which team in your mind (if they were to win) would have the best chance to upset trousdale?.....And by the way Mr. Squared, i got a Colts tobaggen with your name on it, it's plenty big enough considering i have a "fat head" and all.. Maybe a Peyton Manning like performance by Johnny Hill friday night might do the trick, but with 20 degree weather, Brandon Davis should see the numbers once again.
  9. And when i say Blue, your more than welcome to support some royal Colts blue
  10. Fulmer desperatly needs a Manning to come fix the situation, or heck, even a Lorenzen..Btw where is he now Mr. Squared...You making the trip to the foot of Cloudland mountain friday night?...Beats going up the dern thing....hope to see you there, but don't embarass yourself by supporting the blue...put on some orange..
  11. Hampton is a good football team...I heard Harriman had the ball inside the 20, 4 times in the game..If their Defence bends, but dont break against harriman, It will shatter in the red zone against coalfield, if i remember correctly Coalfield was up on Harriman 28-0...at the Half..(was kind of like me beating KingB on the ole' ps2). Coalfield has endured speed from opposing teams this year and done quite well, they are suspect sometimes agains the power backs and line, Ex. Oliver Spings. Coalfields win Friday night was a bit more Emotional then Hamptons sweep of Harriman, it took a bit more out of the Jackets, but made them realize this team is for Real. If you Believe...you've already won 50% of the games you've played...this game will fall into that category. Hampton - 14 Coalfield - 27 Good Luck To Both Teams....
  12. We getting close to gametime...Gonna head to the game in about 3 hours, and let's not forget, let's support the JAckets, And the Blue Devils...Lord know's Harrimans a bit quicker trip than hampton...Good luck to both teams and let's play a good clean game.
  13. btw BBALLTN, Your wrong, Pujo just stands for idiot. I looked it up.
  14. Close to game time...few hours away...I know cloudland will give Coalfield a game, i had to travel up that way back in...2001 my Sophomore year and that was the longest bus ride home...But this year will be a bit different, Cloudland is down from the year without the Byrd kid and the 300 pound line....Coalfield wins tonight, 30-14. Good Luck to Both teams and Go Jackets....
  15. (all linebackers are taught to attack) Midway's just sometime splay overly aggressive.
  16. Even the forums are surrounding Brandon Davis, this kid clearly is a good football player, but to beat midway, Coalfield will have to throw the ball around to keep the defense guessing, i think Coach Kries know's this and will use it. Look for Ryan Carson to have a good game. I remember i had some of my biggest catches against Midway's defense. Their linebacker's must be taught to attack, look for carson to slip in behind them and in front of the secondary for some big yardage.
  17. And don't get me wrong im not saying Brandon Davis isnt the Offensive player he's built up to be, because he's going to be the Offensive player of the year if not the player of the year in this region, im just saying take some pressure off of him and let Ben Duncan,Steven Gunter, Chase Brown, Ryan Carson and others get in on the offensive spark.....They have to find way's to throw the ball to keep other teams honest, i dont care if your playing a 0-10 team you need passing game to copliment your running game.
  18. I agree....this game will go along way in deciding the Region Championship. Coalfield has to play good football. Against Oliver Springs they came out and had an impact with Brandon Davis running quaterback...this was really their only production on offense..could we see this look again this week? I think their putting too much pressure on the shoulder's of davis. I think they need him more on the defensive side of the football...Coalfield need's to get him some carries, but also find way's to get other offensive sparks from Steven Gunter, Even benjamin duncan can carry the load some...Rest brandon davis and use him to his strengths, not let him try to carry the load. Also i just want to say hats off to big Dustin Carrol. He's leading the way for this denfense.
  19. How's about a little Football tonight boys'. Oliver Springs and Coalfield...That's all that need's to be said. I heard rumor of Gunter and Coker having a virus or sickness, i hope they get to play...Should be a good game.
  20. Curtis has coached for years in all three sports, this is just his first time at the High School level, but hey, when you take little pee-wee's and put up an unscored on season and made us understand and run the 4-4 defense then, imagine what he can do with high school students. We even beat Roberstville and Jefferson that year and still finished unscored on as KIDS!!. And he coached the Coalfield guys that play in the High School lvl growing up..evidently he mad ethem into winners, so trust me, dont question Curtis's coach ability's,... just give him time.
  21. Sunbright can and will play right along with Greenback until late in the ballgame. Curtis Newberry is a coach that knows how to win, and the kid's are starting to learn his way~
  22. And yes it should be WON instead of ONE..i just got out of my probability and statistics class here at the college and it's 9:37 so cut me some slack.
