this is the 2nd time where the lavergne kids played their guts out but coaching has cost them the game. lebanon & smyrna were both winable games. did not see the siegal game, dont know what happened there. this ends their chance of going to the playoffs this season. last year the lebanon game was the same deal. i just dont get it.

2P, I usually do as my name says. But wanted to let all the Marshall County people know, as a parent of 2 LHS football players, Seniors & Captains, I hope Coach Thomas does well. He is very good, turned my 2 into men. As for assistants, he needs to take Moos (Offensive Line) & Grooms (Defensive Line) with him. They were great for my 2 boys, really did a lot for them in the game. Talking to my 2 boys tonight & a friend over (#10 linebacker), they did not say much about the move, but want him to do good. As for future LHS players, most of the starters on this year's team were Seniors. The offense was 9 seniors (only Tillery #1 & Big Mike #75 were Juniors). The defense starters (#67, #22, #8) are Juniors, rest are seniors. There is a lot of potential, but it will take discipline & delagation. Really think that is where LHS improved over the years, having multiple coaches. Coach Thomas' 1st year, he was alone, had a part time guy helping him. His records at LHS were 4-6, 3-7, 1-9, 7-4, 8-4. Now, back to my name...just watchin! By the way, my 2 boys are #50 (starting center for 2 years) & #33 (starting noseguard). Guess I am a little proud...sorry about that.

a win is a win. and teams that lavergne handled, smyrna had a hard time with. and the region 4-5a was the closest it has been ever. a few of those teams beat each other out. and blackman beat lebanon. any given friday.

i like how yall respect each other. rutherford co. is in denial. everyone thinks lavergne is same ol' lavergne (no body shows respect). and it is not just lavergne that gets riped. by the way congrats. to cookville. i have seen lc on tape. they looked pretty good. do not read anything about region 4-5a teams because all it is is people talking bad to one another. yall need to give them some pointers.

not everybody is like cookville and lc. read their forum. they respect each other. lavergne is trying to earn it while individuals (people on coacht) are losing respect. besides im just standing up for my peps. ying yang!

why you always talking bad about someone? why you frontin'? wait do you even know grooms? he is a real man and a good father figure. and he is a heck of a coach. he has taken an "awful" d-line and turned them into hole cloggers. one or two of them are getting double teamed on every play. sounds like coaches are scared of his boys. by the way lavergne is gaining momentum, going into the playoffs. that is why you should worry about lavergne beating blackman by 42. p.s. ying yang!

i usually dont say much, just read, but this post has got an error. lavergne may have an occasional 'chock block' which they usually get penalized. however, they do 'cut block'. a 'cut block' can be used in high school, college, & professional. if you do not like the 'cut block' i suggest you go to the tssaa & file to have them removed. as a side note, usually only the loser of the game complains about these type of things.

You are right, but you are the only one trash talking(as of right now). WC, Blackman, siegel, and Oakland just want to get some lime-light. lebonon has not said a word. Riverdale is more just brushing everyone of their shoulders because they have to be dethrown first and lavergne just talks to you. but of coarse that will change when the season comes closer.

the rezoning thing really wont bother lavergne's athletics. it messes up their AP smart classes. lavergne has come a long way in filling those classes and half of the students in those classes are rezoned.

Not really, their little brother is 6' and the their dad is 6'1". guess they were just unlucky. lol.

No, his twin who is the nose gaurd is 5'7". The center is 5'9".

Whetstone is productive because he is the brains of the defense, but Powers and Williams(Anthony) are the ones that are key when it comes to getting things done.

But the defenses on both teams might get pumped up and be flawless all day.

I think the score between these two teams will either be very low or very high. Like 10-7 or maybe 49-48. It will be a great game no matter what.
