  1. Now that we have some Hoptown guys in here....How is Alcoa going to match up to, a seems to be one of Alcoa's top 4 tuff games of the year. What will Alcoa need to focus on...Run?...Pass?? Is Hoptown a running team...or...a passing team? Have a safe trip for everyone heading up there!
  2. Yes Ridgeway lost to melrose by 6 during the season...however in the playoff's they lost by the score of 35-0. Melrose got better while ridgeway didnt. Melrose lost to Maryville by 1 only because they were better then than they were from the start. HAHA that prob. makes no sense!!! But I think tom will understand it. thumb
  3. I think no matter how good they are it will show Alcoa the things they need to work on and give them time to prepare for Maryville. I hope they are not a blow over because Alcoa doesnt need to get a huge head before Maryville heads on to Goddard Field. Good luck Alcoa!
  4. Hopkinsville...from what I have heard were pretty good last year. They went 13-1. Will Alcoa win by a blow out or will the game be close? I cant really guess the score because I have NO idea about Hopkinsville... What do you all think?????? Hopkinsville results from last year... http://www.unapproved website.com/FanPages/Team.mxp/...6e-77e0dfb66303
  5. Well lets think about this....Maryville has the same Defense as last year....but not the same offense... Alcoa is the same team as last year but 14 times (since that how many games that have played since) more experienced than they were last year. Alcoa scored 18 on the good ol maryville D last year when maryville had a good Offense to help the defense rest.... If Alcoa could put up 18 points on the good ol maryville d last year...you best bet Alcoa will put up AT LEAST that much this year!!!!!
  6. I think with Maryville having fresh starters on offense will kill them. Maryville's D will keep the score from being high but it will not stop Alcoa from the end zone. With the inexperance of Maryville's O and the very experienced Alcoa Offense and Defense Alcoa will pull away with a big win. Maryville 14 thumb Alcoa 28 thumb
  7. Or maybe people really think that Maryville will not be as great as normal this year and that Alcoa will beat Maryville....Have you ever thought about that???????? Good luck to both teams! and May the Poll reflect the game. thumb
  8. First of all Alcoa was not the only team that jumped off sides...I was there and EVERYBODY jumped off sides several times... Brad is fast but hate to tell you but I can promise you...he was not the fastest person there. And it is sad that you are bragging about beating Alcoa in a race when you wont even play them in during the season. Anyway! Alcoa won 14-0 over Sevier county WB Won 13-0 over Seymour WB Freshmen lost to GP 7-0 Heriage won 7-0 over Greenback Maryville won over Pegion Forge (dont know the score) thumb The Half Time Fun thumb Longest Punt GP (I think) 1st Alcoa recived 2nd Longest Kick Alcoa lst Longest Pass Alcoa 1st Linemen Run Alcoa 1st Running back run WB 1st
  9. Everyone needs to remember the reason why teams scrimmage each other...to work out the bugs and to get back into the feeling of things. Also to see what works and what doenst work. Alcoa and Oak Ridge will both be great teams in the 2005 season. Hopefully the both can get their bugs out and I KNOW both teams will be ready for the first game! Good luck Alcoa!!!! thumb thumb Good luck Oak Ridge!!! thumb
