We are about 24 hours until game time...now that everyone has had time to think about it...lets hear more predictions!

I am getting pretty pumped up about the game...sounds like a lot of people will be coming out for the game...better get there early for good seats...

Fulton is going to give Alcoa a tuff time...however...I think Alcoa will be too good for Fulton. Alcoa's D will hold Fulton to a few points while Alcoa's offence will be to tuff for Fulton... Alcoa 35 Fulton 21

Well Alcoa and Fulton will square it off this Friday...and I want to say it could be a good one...however...I thought that last year would have been a good one too... I think it is to tuff to tell... Alcoa will pull away with a win....

I knew this one would be bad...Alcoa has shown their mark in 2A! Alcoa won 42-0 Alcoa's D will be one to watch this season...CAK has an OKAY offense and for Alcoa to shut them out for the whole game...and last week hold Maryville to only 2 td's....wow! Next week Alcoa Vs. Fulton at Alcoa...This will be a good game!! Good luck to CAK!

Alcoa vs. CAK...last year CAK did not stand much of a chance...will it be the same this year? Alcoa played a GREAT game against a tuff team to beat powerhouse Maryville and only lost by 3 points. Will anyone else for the rest of the season be able to play with Alcoa? McCallie should be a good one....ANYWAY... Alcoa 49 CAK 0 (Alcoa had a pretty good D against Maryville)

I do not understand...people in the thread are retarted. Talkin about if Maryville did not have as many fumbles we would of won...Alcoa should of done this....THAT IS FOOTBALL, yeah maybe Maryville would of done better than that if they wouldnt have...BUT THEY DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For all the Maryville people...QUIT crying!! It is sad that a 4A POWERHOUSE almost lost to a 2A school. No matter who dropped the football...THEY DID!!! SO QUIT CRYING AND GROW UP!!!! I hope that Alcoa and Maryville have a good game...for everyones sake I hope it is a close game...Maybe Maryville will blow out Alcoa...but wheres the fun in that year after year. It is good to see a good smash mouth football and that game is not over until the clock hits 0:00. Maryville wins year after year not because of stars but because of a great coach that knows how to teach TEAM work. Alcoa has been blessed with great talent over the years however has never had a coach to teach great team work, Meadows did to some extent, however, it is still a lot of stars taking the spot light. This year, Alcoa has a new coach that has a history of teaching team work...Maybe it could turn around Alcoa's program! With Maryville losing some of their players, I believe that will hurt their offence when it comes to what will they do next...however, Maryville ALWAYS can pull out the passing game and blow away teams. Alcoa this year has a little less passing game, but a STRONG running game. With a QB that is an OKAY passer, however, he can run and is fast. Then they have a smash mouth full back, and another speedster running back. I look forward to this game every year, and no matter who wins, I will always look forward to this game. HAHA!!! You all have no right to talk if you were not at the game!!!!! Alcoa had their 3rd string before the half was over!!!!!! It was around 63-0 and Alcoa had their 2nd - 3rd string in which is Alcoa's freshmen in and they scored the rest! GP gave up the ball like6 times right near the goal line and alcoa just ran it in. About 60 points came from the defense. Alcoa prob had about 4 first downs. Alcoa just would score on the first play of offense. AND the 2nd half was only 8 mins long with the clock running non stop!!!!!! HAHA i think it is funny that you all are a bunch of cry babies.

Maryville has the talent to be 4A State Champs! I do feel that they will make it past Central but then Maryville will more than likely be heading out to Mo-Town west which I think they are the only ones with the chance to beat them! However Maryville will pull out with a win!!!! Good luck Maryville...Bring another one back to blount county!!!!

all I have to say is look at the scores of Milan and then you have your anwser. They havent played all the great of teams and they have scored at least twice in every game. Maybe they give Alcoa a game but Alcoa would win by least 2 TD's. Hope it will be a Match up in dec. to find out tho!!!!!

They will make it to the 2nd round of the play-offs then get a long bus ride home from Alcoa after getting demolished!!!! Alcoa does not like Loudon...didnt in 2000. THey will keep 1 string in till the 4th and maybe even then just to shut Loudon up.....but good luck on the rest of the season....Make region 2-AA look good!!!

I give Alcoa the win by 21 or more points...Loudon...well they will be 2nd in the region...but they will not give Alcoa much of a game. Fulton would beat Loudon and Alcoa killed Fulton. Alcoa 42 Loudon 14 and that is if Alcoa puts in 2nd string. And trust me catfish...you all are NO Maryville....not even 1/100 of Maryville!!!! Thats a fact!!!!!!!!!!!!

great job Maryville...as always Maryville is going to be GREAT!!!! GQ is an awesome coach. That onside kick threw Alcoa off....then just all downhill from there! Maryville and Alcoa will both do great in their season but as always Maryville is a GREAT program! Alcoa and Maryville....both of you all bring home a state champ. to blount county again!!!! thumb

I agree with you bobcat. Maryville will have at least one loss this year. Maybe to Alcoa or maybe not...but at least 1. It might not be till the playoffs. Do not think they will win state...might make it but will not win it. I wish they would and hope they can...but just do not see it coming true. Good luck tho. Why isnt MAryville playing Mo-town>?????

With all the trash talking from both teams and how everyone thinks their teams is going to win we all have to remember that facts.... 1. Maryville hasnt lost since Nov. 29 2003 to Morristown West by 3 points and then their last lost before that was on Sept. 14 to Morristown West by a TD. So it is hard to swallow for Maryville that they might lose a game. They are 57-2 since 2001. 2. Alcoa WANTS to beat Maryville soo bad but they havent since 2000 and that was by a TD. Last year Alcoa's only lost was to Maryville 31-18. This is the first year Alcoa has a chance in years. 3. The fact is...Maryville is not as good as they have been in years and I know their season hasnt started but by paper they do not have the talent they have had in past years. THat doesnt mean they will not develop the talent. I give Alcoa the edge because of all the talented players. Alcoa 28 Maryville 21

I wasnt being a jerk or anything...I am just getting tired of people talking about it first of all and 2nd I am tired of people saying he does or doesnt deserve to play. I think it will be a great game but I think Greenback will pull away with a win! Good luck to both teams...I would like for both teams to win. I would like greenback to win because (even tho their really not) we consider them to be blount county people. I would like loudon to win because with the more wins you have the better it will be when Alcoa blows by with a at least 40 point win!

The name of this game will be "Who Can Score the Fastest!". Pretty much "he who scores last will win the game"! I think BOTH teams have their weekness...Maryville is weak in the offense area. They have a strong running back but a (could prove me wrong) weak QB. Not much experience under his belt. However, Maryville does have good WR's which can make a QB look good even if he isnt. Alcoa is weak now that they do not have one of their stars...but besides that they will be week in the passing area. One because they no longer have Warren and two Maryville has a good defense. Alcoa will have a great running game with two different weapons. In the end, it will come down to who's running game can make it to the end zone the most times. Alcoa has a very stong running game with a pretty good defense. Maryville has a very stong defense with a pretty good running game.
