To Mr Unsportsman I ask how it is you come to that conclusion. you must be a fan of one of the teams Loudon defeated this year. or are you a player? I would like to hear an example of dirty play by the Reskins. and lets make it a factual one and not one of your judement. I am sure they did but that does not mean you will be true to them once they are gone. I feeel you have a big heart...but a little brain to go with it. so go on back to your self centered all about you world and get over it. sorry i took so long to reply but I was trying to find where Rockwood was in the playoff brackets and silly me...I found out they will be at home all thru the playoffs...there home. sometimes that can be a contibutor but in this case I don't think so. we played some of the same opponents as we would have in 3A ( Sweetwater, Kingston and Lenoir City) this is just a good team that is playing well together and what that lack in size they make up in heart and determination.

I agree with you Free ( rare occassion ) but this team has done a complete 180. I am a senior parent and I have followed the team close for the last 4 years and even coached a lot of these boys in youth football. this is not to take anything away from the Juniors, Sophomores or freshmen but theses seniors have displayed great leadership both on and off the field. when I see these kids out in public and they are very respectful to others and lead by example. for the past three years when I would attend practice sessions I saw alot of players that thought it was all about them. they never really bought into the team play concept, well these players are gone. if you attended one of this years practices you would be hard pressed to think they would be a region contender. because they are having so much fun it appears they are just goofing off but in reallity they are such a close knit team they concentrate and execute when the time calls for it and have fun and enjoy the sport of football in between plays as it should be. heck far...I have even noticed that the head coach is picking up on some of our Tennessee hillbilly ways, I knew he would come around. just kidding coach, we all knew you really are redneck wanna be lol. now that the regular season is over I think the team needs to stay focused, do what you do best and have fun. WIN , LOOSE od DRAW the eleven that take the field each play represent every fan, coach, parent and ever person that has ever worn the Redskin uniform and should carry there head high and be proud of what they have occomplished in life as a player , student and a person. TODAY IS MERELY A STEPPING STONE TO REACH TOMORROW.

well I am very sorry you and Goosevol feel the way you do. the score at the end is not typical of Loudon play. I have seen many times this year when Loudon has taken a knee with as much as 1:30 left on the clock. in my personal opinion I feel the last score was because of the new kid in at full back. he is 2nd / 3rd string and is well deserving of feeling the endzone because of his hard work and the fact he is a senior. overall I think the game was well played and for the most part there was good sportsmanship displayed on both sides. but you will have to admit when a team comes in and battles the eleven that the home team puts on the field and the other five in striped shirts its can get emotions high and a high level of emotions can drive a team to do things out of its normal pattern. now to Moffitt, Broom, Cunningham, Morgan, Malone, Hank, Morgan, Lawson, Vega and Coker. I agree you guys are a top notch group and you are going to be a valuble loss to your team come the 2006 season and we at Loudon wish you well but for govols to say he is with you in whatever life brings is a little misleading. I am sure in a week or two he will go back to his self centered / all about me world and forget that you all were a part of the 2005 Tigers.

well Loudon won 36-14 with two long TD's called back. both teams played hard and our prayers go out the the Rockwood Player who suffered a injury requiring a hospital trip and the the Loudon player ( who suffered a knee injury. I would like to make one closing comment. we see the players improve from week to week as the season progresses. if this is the case with the referees I would sure hate to see how bad this group was at the beginnng of the year. they were absolutely pathetic in tonites game.

it is folks like you all that gives these forums a bad rep. you come in here on a serious post and start talking trash. I am sure the Tiger fans of Rockwood do not condone your antics. yes Shot I am from Loudon and we have had a rough 3 years. our boys play with alot of heart and team unity, something we have been lacking for the past few years.nothing like seeing the team do well on your sons senior year. good luck to you all and thanks for the info on HV

for the past 4-6 weeks I have read many post on here about the bad sportsmanship of Oliver Springs and how they seem to have alot of sore losers and whinners both within the team and the fans. there is really no need for some of you all to act like you do. you made the comment after the Loudon game about the fireworks. well my question to that is what did it hurt, what was it to you. and the same goes for our victory cannon. and for the radio announcing, no one is making you listen to OUR radio station. get some money and get your own station. I realize now why other schools listen to the game on out station and it is because we have a web rebroadcast and you all want to hear your little Johnny's name called but when our announcer makes his comments you all get offended and want to get him fired or strung up. I think every school has its issues and some more than others. if it was your school doing it you would not be such a critic. and as for the comment made about the refs. you only criticize the refs when you lose. Will Loudon finish the regular season 9-1 or will Rockwood post an upset. My prediction Loudon 34 Rockwood 14 with or without Hawkins doesn't really matter.

you appear to be one that reads a post and misses most of what is said. as I said some of my comments were made in jest like the one about firing your guns. I do not condone the cheering incident you speak of. I did say that we all have areas we need to work on. well first of all I do not pretend to be a lawyer I was merely trying to point out that this player needs to understand what this type of conduct can lead into. I am sure he is a good kid that just got caught in the moment. we too have had our issues from time to time. as for my ealier post there was no slander involved. and some of the comments were made in jest. GO Redskins and to cat no familiar with the cheerleading incident and if that is true ( not doubting you) it is a show of poor sportsmanship on our part. and for the radio announcing I do not listen to the calling....I guess we all have areas we could do better.

Well Hi there H.O.S. I do agree with you that Loudon deserved to win because they were the better team on the field. they seemed to be better prepared and a little hungrier for a victory. as for the refs if in fact they did make a call in Loudons favor I think it is about time O.S gets a little payback from what they dish out on there home field. if you follow high school football , and I am sure you do you know as well as I do that in every game the refs make mistakes and the losing fans ( Oliver Springs)seem to point it out more than the winning fans ( Loudon ). as for the fireworks, the fireworks do not occur durring the game. they are luanched before the game starts and after the game ends. although I do like what you said at the end and I quote " if you are going to do it do it big" so I guess in your mind the more illegal it is the better it is. ( hmmm...I think this guy is a nut)Loudon has alot for us to be very proud of what our boys have accomplished. and I am not talking about the "W's" I am referring to the teamwork and dedication these boys are achieving and with this a few folks at loudon are willing to do everything possible to fire our boys up and show that we support them 100 %. thank you for pointing out a TSSAA rule and I will look into it. I really think it is odd that you find that offensive because surely at O.S when you all score you have someone in the crowd firing there favorite deer rifle or squirrel gun. I think the fireworks would have smelled better to you if you had won the game. O.S has some tallented players and some good coaching but a couple of the boys need to grow up such as #6. no matter what was said to him a player never takes a swing at a fan. if this boy had connected with his intended target he could have been arrested for assault. if he hit the person with his helmet then it could have been aggravated assault wich is a felony in the state of Tennessee. and at the end of the game I was standing at the field waiting for your #36 to exit so I could tell him what a good game he had ( which I did ) and a O.S player not wearing a shirt made the comment to another O.S. player" I will bust someone in the back of the head walking out of here" he was obviously upset because he was crying ( bless his heart). but anyways. I think O.S has a good team and we did not take them lightly and I am sorry that the O.S. team has you for a fan...I think they deserve better. good luck to the team for the remainder of the season, I see them taking the fourth playoff spot.

hey cat if going I-75 south you exti and turn left, this will take you in front of McDonalds. you will travel about 3 miles and come to a stop light, here you will turn left and the school is about 1 mile on the right....if you go to the second light and turn left it brings you in behind the stadium.

I think Loudon wins if they play there "A" game. I understand Hawkins is injured with a sprained ankle. he should be rested this game and let Cambel carry so all can be good and healthy down the stretch. Loudon 48 OS 14

This was a good and exciting game. as for the refs, it is a job that is much harder to do than it is to be observed doing it. I do, can not and will not agree with a couple of the calls but that is water under the bridge. *snap over Harbs shoulder and when it apperars he has fallen on it the ball squirts free and Loudon recovered. it was ruled a fumble and a Loudon recovery until the coach from CAK stepped in and it was over turned. the chains were even moved and spotted for Loudons poccesion. whether the call is right or wrong no coach should be able to step in after a ruling and change the mind of a ref to cause a ruling to be over turned. * was the Loudon sack on Harb really deserving of a personal foul? from my seat it appeared that 3 Loudon defenders had gotten to Harb and all 3 were commited to the play as he went down. I do not think this should have been roughing the passer. CAK has a great passing game. and if not for the rain things might have been different. CAK may have completed more passes and Loudons first play may have been a 80 yard TD or Loudon may not have slipped on the wet field as much when cutting. all in all it was an exciting game. good luck CAK and GO BIG RED.
