Loudon High School Redskins 79-83

well Lenoir City football is down and I do not see them being to competetive in this region in the next several years. what do you all think?

oooooh....tough one to call. Loudon has not faced a team that relies on the pass as much as CAK. I think if the offence can keep producing and if the Defensive linebackers and secondary play to there potential I see CAK being held in check. I think it will be more like Loudon - 35 CAK - 21 P.S. I really hope they key on Josh Hawkins because we proved last week he is not our bread and butter. not to take anything away from Hawkins but this truely a team giving team effort.

well hello Texas I agree that we have some very arogant people that make post in here...heck every team has them, please keep in mind that these folks do not represent the true feelings of the team. now to respond to some of your comments. we did play AC before our opener at Ac and won 20-0 . one if the AC parents said we gave AC a better game than did Farrugut. and Rockwood is on our schedule, it is the regular season game. I for one am very proud of our team this year, it has been a rough three years and now we want to feel good about ourselves. the true followers of the game made comments just tonight that we need our A game because Kingston is tough. I know the team respects there ability as do we. I look forward to a good game with good sportsmanship and no major injuries GO BIG RED ! ! !

I hope non eo fhte players from either team reads these post. they are childish. if you all knew as much about football as you think you do then lets go to Vegas. both teams are respectable ....either can win or lose. so get over ir and enjoy the game. lol...you two would make great cheer leaders. wonder if Ronos has any pom pom's for you. hats off to Polk County and there program. it is good to see a quality club with a quality facility....F. Eagle please becareful of how you down other teams. you should know that we can not put much stake in rankings.....they are for those you play on paper. the fans at PCH were a class act and very friendly. this was a good game with good sportsmanship. I hope the injured PCH player is not serious and recovers soon. to PCH fans and student your facility is top notch, something to be very proud of. other schools building new facilities should bench mark you all. good luck the rest of the year. hjope to see you all play Nov / Dec

thanks....I will eat in Madisonville or Etowah but not to fear I am one you spends money at the concessions also.... I think Loudon will be hungry for this victory. I believe speed and stamina prevails over size and strength.....good luck to both. and please pray that God is merciful on our Gulf coast with Rita.

like I said on the other post Polk County is huge...I mean corn bread fed. I hope to come to PCH and give a good showing. I personally think Loudon will be the victor because this team has tallent. not saying PCH doesn't , I am just saying from what I ahve seen an read and discussed with folks from all schools I think it will be a Redskin victory. ( Loudon Fan here) now as for the game I hope it is smack down , cloud of dust game and I hope no one gets injured. I hear PCH has a great facility and I am looking forward to being at the gate at 6:00. and a question for Polk County folks...is there a good place to get something to eat . last time I was there it seems eateries were limited. our prayers from Loudon High Redskins are with the family in this trying time. we at Loudon understand what the teams and familyis going thru. in May of 2004 we lost a senior key player in a motor cycle accident only days after his 18th birthday. he never saw his senior season. again our prayers are yours. " A player for a day.....A sweet memory for a lifetime"

I will start off by saying congrats to Alcoa...they are a very tallented and impressive team. by far the best 2-A team in this area. with that said I still believe they are beatable. we shot ourselves in the foot by making mistakes early on. if we do not fumble on the first play then the first score comes a little later. our aggressive ball pursuit caused us 2 TD's when the offense went against the grain and caught us on the wrong side of the field without the speed to overcome. the second half was a better game for Loudon. I was impressed that we never gave up and the fact when the game was over our boys still had there head up because they felt it no shame losing to a quality opponent like Alcoa. now for the individuals on the team B. Warren- good solid player, very tallented but a bit of a hot head. it was evident late in the game when he dropped to passes and then got a personal called on him because out of frustration he threw a cheap shot to the head of a defender. R. Sykes- very tallented player...OMG he is unreal. for my all american team I pick him over Warren...he is definately over shadowed by warren. D. Lyndsay- good solid back, runs hard and hits like a truck. Negatives the play with the Loudon kick return with T. Campbell carrying the ball- the personal foul was one that I thought warranted an ejection. that is the type of play that can cause serious injury or even death to a player. that was totally un called for and should not be tollerated on any level. if this was NCAA or NFL, and I know it isn't the player would have been ejected and fined. Part 2 to the play- when medical attetion was being given to Campbell the Loudon fans were booing the play as would Alcoa if it was reversed. #50 ( not sure of the name) turned to the Loudon bench and crowd and done a Macho flex. this was while the condition of the injured player was unknown. this is my opinion is very poor conduct and sportsmanship and is reflective of the coach. you can say what you will about Loudon but I do know that if a Loudon player, yes even J. Hawkins had done that to an opponent he would be benched for the game or dealt with in an appropriate manner and it would not have been taken lightly. in closing good showing by Alco and way to hang in there Loudon. despite all the things I said Loudon did to hurt themselve it would still have been a Alcoa victory....we hope to see you all in November. for your info BC Smart a_ _ I am not downuing the Torndo team. when I reffer to arogant tornadoes I am talking about those who are bias to Alcoa and come in here and start talking about how they do not see anyone getting within 40 points all year. that is arogant. if you read all my post you will see that I said alcoa is tallented but beatable. I have not said a whole lot in here because I do think alcoa will defeat Loudon but anything can happen. we too have mouthy , arogant fans as well as you all but at anytime did we say we are unbeatable. but we do like to be confident and not lie down to our opponent....see you on here afeter the game. good luck to all and GO REDSKINS.

in here most of the ones making the comments do not play football for either team. they are folks who think they know it all when in fact they know just enough to stir up trouble. I say let the boys play and see what the outcome is. as for Josh Hawkins being the fastest, he will not be and if you know Loudon the way you say you do then you would know that #86 ( Jeremy Johnson is the fastest obn the team. to Joshes defense I do not think Josh ever claimed to be the fastest. I really wish we would all stop trash talking/bragging and just enjoy the competition. and let me be the first to admit I am one of the folks in here that is guilty but it needs to stop......PLEASE

it is obviouse that Loudon has greatly improved. I think Alcoa is loaded but not unbeatable. Alcoa will have to have a few of the breaks go against them and Loudon will need some in there favor but anything can happen. I hope for 31-28 Loudon...good luck to all and remember our Katrina Victims.

I ditto that frmEagle, Josh Hawkins rushed for 300 yars tonite and I am sure the other running backs contributed about 150 more. that is just rushing yardage. like I said in an earlier post when LC was bragging on the size of there line....elephants are also big but they , like LC can not play football. and as for sportsmanship your team really showed there true colors ( orange and black) but I understand where they get it.
