the brentwood smyrna game this friday will be the best game of the week by far, It will be a match up aginst smyrna's offense.the defense will be better because this is the second week in a row that they face a spread offence.they know who brentwood are,they have no really excepional player except that #9 McCurdy i thisnk is his name. dont get me wrong brentwood has a lot of average players who play strong hard and will play every play to the fullest but i jus dont think brenwood can match up with smyrna's recivers.they have an all-region pick 6'1 senior in demarcus martin a 6'3 man child that is ripped like T.O in wilks.and a 6 ft reciver who is said to have the best hands on the team in josh crouch.this week i expect that smyrna will open up their playbook now that sophmore sonny gray has a win under his belt. pick brentwood 21 smyrna 35

cramps are cramps.smyrna's coaches had nothing to do why they got cramps, they forced 5 to 6 bottles of 16 oz powerade down the starting line up.what hurt us the most is that we werent in the greatest condition and we have players who are starting for the first time on offence and defense.the team is led by wilis and smotherman 2 seniors but i belive smyrna has 7 underclassman on defense and 8 on offense.so for a debut for the underclassman they played good and will progress that was only the first game and every first game is always average but they will be a conteneder JUlian has grown up playin ball with me and always said he would be back and beat smyrna but it wasnt that night but we will meet again in the playoffs.so hold ur head high we will be back .

a game no one thought would be a contest.I was impressed by the play of julian wright and a-rod.those two put a finger down on the playof smyrnas offense and defense,Julian played his heart out and that is nothing i wouldnt expect being such a big rival game. now for smyrna the play of rod wilks was outstanding and maceo harris and antwoin hendricks.the defense stepped up at the end holding lavergne to a forth down play forcing a-rod to throw.it got away from him and that was that. Lhs will suprise ppl this yr by their play dont over look the players at LHS they have mine and Smyrna's players respect. hero----- smyrna's junior kicker michael hosford who hit a 46 yard fg to win late in the forth. both teams make playoff runs this year
