I REALLY DONT CARE WHATR U THINK OR WHAT U HAVE TO SAY!! I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT UR OPINION..GET OFF MY JOCK FOR 10 MINS.. me and sonny were the first to get the hats yes, and they were infront of their student section, but did me and him ever do anything besides raise our hands...NOPE!! show me the tape, video, anything where i did, bc i have proof, ask steve heath and tom kreger where i was at right after i got my hat..i was talking to them about our team play, and if u watch the tape all the way through u see me and sonny shaking hands with ravenwood,i could name the numbers i talked to..did the team go over there..yea..did they say anything besides point at the score board and point at the hats and s, idk i wasnt there and either was u, actually i think they were cussing at them and throwing things at us bc i saw that on tv and i saw it when i was talking to the newspaper after our win..talk about something else..lol..i mean seriously..go to the basketball thread..we won state..we dont care what happened after the game and ur not changing anyones feelings about it..and i am only worried about my brothers feelings on the teams..u cant please everyone..i learned that a long time ago..maybe u should too..i learned my lession, i dc what U HAVE TO SAY BC U R nobody IN MY MIND!! i would like to first and for most say CONGRADULATIONS TO ALL AT SMYRNA, NOT JUS THE TEAM, BUT FTHE COMMUNTITY AND ALL!! ITS ALL FOR YALL AND THE SUPPORTERS, as for the fans, someone on here said it was hard for the players to hear what the fans were sayin..yea it was..i can say i heard 2 chants the whole night..and it was in warm ups..one when we were strechin and when we were doin wr drills, i would like to say , i am proud of ravenwoods fans!! it shows great prid in ur school to try to get in a players head,bc we all know..fans help dictate the overall play of the team..although some chants where towards me and sonny, the team coaches and fans helped us during the week to understand and kinda simulate what was coming..and i think that helped us at the time the game came around to jus laugh it off.. our fans..THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT..DONT FEEL LIKE U LET US DOWN BY SAYING SOMETHING..IT WAS ALL IN FUN..AND WE KNOW THAT RAVENWOOD FANS AND SMYRNA FANS ARE SOME OF THE BEST AROUND AT SUPPORTING THEIR TEAMS..ITS UNDERSTANDABLE.. but i would like to say to the ravenwood coaches and staffa dn players, that during the game..eveyone who was out there DID NOT, talk trash one bit!! and i aplaud the both teams..bc what i saw from the players was nothing less than respect for both teams for being at the point they were at..the state title game.. but the play from the bulldogs was mainly influenced by the way we were imbarrassed homecoming night!! hats off to ravenwood on a great season, and a true dynasty they have starting ath ravenwood! the game was like a dream, it was everything our senior class could work for, and i would like to state on the matter of the team goin to the hats and student section also..i got my hat first..and it was right by the student section..me and sonny got it first, then the rest came, and on the tape u actually see me and sonny shaking hands, so it wasnt the whole team,but the reason why they were over there was bc the hats were really on the 15 yrd line right infront of yall..what was said or taugnted i dont know, bc i was gone by then talking to newspaper and shaking hands, but if anything was said i am sry, but the actions were there mainly bc of the pre-game warmups.and ravenwood bashing our team, and we got tired of it, i know i had probably everyone on the staff and team come to me and say we r here for u this time, we have your back, and the support and love i recieved from the team and city helped me through this week, bc i disccrased myself last time, and for them to allow themself to overlook that and see my pain that week, thank you!! thank you more than everything, i didnt get on here all week and this is my final thought of the game.. conclusion..the game was exactly waht i expected from the players, nothing but respect for ravenwood from us..and the starters and ppl who played never talked trash that i saw, and it was jus a heart filled game, with high standards and emottions running high! ravenwood congrats on a great season, i am sure yall will b back next yr, u have a great player in ur qb coming back, and i expect the same results bc coach rector is a great coach and can get his team back, thank u to the team and players form both sides, it capped off my football career, and i will never suit up again most likeily, what better way to go out than on top!! again sry if we hurt yalls feelings, i think it was jus the thrill of the 1st ever championship, and i would like to take the blame for being a senior and allowing it,

well i know what happened last time..and i know what i allowed yall to do is to get to my head b4 the game..but since then i have "grown up"..if the best thing u can do is say ur coming after me again..then thats fine..but to the players..i have soooo much respect for yall..i am happy to b able to say i am a senior at smyrna high school and i was the 1st class to ever make it to the state..and with all that being said i could ask for a better opponet then ravenwood..goodluck to yall..and i hope the game is full of sportsmanship..bc the past is behind me..but i know aswell as everyone else that i will get bashed during the game saturday..sooo i am jus gonna accept it,but letting the fans know..i am a new athlete since that game..and everyone around our program understands that.. but..goodluck to yall saturday and i will b the first to tell yall, yall had an amazing season and everything yall have accomplished in 2 yrs really makes me look at ravenwood as a quote new dynasty beginning..so this will b the last time i look at this thread, i was jus told by other ppl that it was said, but i dont hate u for it..if i was a fan there too i would prob do the same thing knowing that we got to him last time..but this is football and my senior yr, and the 1st class to b able to say we took smyrna high to the state championship..so goodluck again, and may the best team win!

smyran players..stay off of here please..we have enough to worry about in practice..dont get on here and run yalls mouth bc everyone else is..leave that to the fans..we know what we are gonna get done..we dont have to talk it..so dont talk this game up more than it already is..i will b hapy when it comes..i have respect from friday..but comparing game after game and who beat who and who scored on who is ridiculous..lets just practice like champs and come out friday ready to play.. good luck lavergne..yall have all my respect and every player on the team..just for accomplishing the goals for the season..good luck friday hope its a great atmosphere and a good sportsmanship game..

brentwood was 1-0 whne we played them..lavergne was 0-0 columbia was 2-0, wc was 1-2, and blackman was 1-3..leaving out blackman and wc..everyone had a winning recod..bc they dont now has nothing to do after we played them..brentwood and columbia were solid football teams..just like any ron crawford team..very fundamental..and made plays..columbia has more athletes then anyone in our region..they just didnt stick to their game plan..but i will admit our hardest part of the scheduale starts friday..but i like how everyone still second guesses our offense..it makes just feeds us on o.. GO PURPLE AND GOLD!!

coach shad is the best coach in the region hands down..now that he has more than 4 coaches like last yr..he can concentrate on jus being a head coach..instead of coaching qb,dbs and wrs..a coach may have talent..BUT maybe the kids dont want to play..maybe they r in it for the next level play and as we all know that gets ur team no where on fridays..he has been at his respected school for longer than any coach in the region..and he will definatly b rewarded for it this yr!!!althoght i am not saying we will beat riverdale and that we will win state..bc it will happen as god sees fit..but he has put time and effort in to this yrs team more than any coach in the region this yr..i firmly believe that...no matter what yall might think of him..he works harder than any coach an loves seeing the FAMILY suceed and to get the reward for friday night.. so with all do respect to everyone who is hating on coach shad..please take a step back and allow yourself to view the things he has set for his team and what goals are being met every week in and out...

wc is fundamentally sound on d..their o turns the ball over to much and they ( i expect) will work on this during the week..wc is a good team..i believe it will b between them and lebonon in the 4th spot this yr.. i have to admit..oakland has been impressing me..they r playing good ball now and hope to keep the winning ways up..say shane at ttu last thursday and talked to him for a good minute..but keep it up o playoffs this yr??? but smyrna isnt full yet..so to speak..we r still hungry And still have to prove ourselfs..we arnt looking ahead to week 8 when them boys visit us from murfreesboro..we r looking now to improve everyday in practice and making ourselfs better for columbia..and the coachs and leaders of the team is doin a great job to keep our heads form exploading on the team..

well what r some stats from cc..record..players..and is that qb back from last yr...i remeber 22 and coker is gone..but they r all i remember...man i am not looking forward to the ride there tho...lol

what i understood about this from sorces at blackman who play football is that after mims..TOOK HIMSELF OUT OF THE GAME FRIDAY..he told some coaches some crude comments..so i wouldnt put it by coach wells to do this..but if he wanted to he could b the best rb in the state!!!! he has the size and speed to go where ever he wants..he is the face of blackman for 3 yrs now and a player his freshman yr..but riverdale coming off a lose and blakman supposivly doitn that to riverdale..look to se ethe old warriors back..sry blackman but riverdale by 50+

an exciting game none the less..wc is no slouch...they r coming off a win and have weapons in the rite position..i expect wc to b ready and shs coaching staff to keep doing what they r doing and keep up the great philosophies they have established on both offense and defense tis year.. goodluck to wc and to all wildcat fans..we will b a hated guest but we bring all the resprct in the world for a region power house like wc..

about rod pushing..i told him this all week b4 the gaem..watch jerry rice tape..i have done this NUMEROUS times..u watch how he runs his patterns and watch his feet..now what u dont see is when he sets it down to the db..he gives a push off..that is TOTALLY LEGAL...tssaa rules say that as long as a wr doesnt extend both arms u can push off as hard as u want...i have done my tape watching and this is how i learn the tricks of the trade in hs football...all recivers out there..it never hurts to watch jerry rice and lynn swann run their patterns...it will expand ur knowledge on the game and it helps ALOT...TRUST ME,,,

i dont know why we didnt throw the out or the seam more, the d end was giving free realeses to us all night and i was open a couple of time alot..but u have to understand when u have a dominate force like rod and what he was doin friday night its hard to look any other way..i was pleased with the way sonny saw the field..i have played that position b4 and i know how hard it is to see certine things..but we could have put the saftey on a island all night long..that was our game plan..we knew they werent gonna get any pressure onthe inside slot..and we made the free choose his posion..and rod gave him a doce..but williams played a EXCELLENT game at free for lhs..but mc9 i know what u r saying..but i was just happy with the win and didnt care who got the ball really.... and i know i hate that i caught some cramps..i caught a lower body cramp where everything from waist down locked on me at half..and i can honestly say i didnt drink one coke during that week...ate a bananna everyday at lunch and even drunk a glass of water b4 i went to bed at night..so thats still a mystery to me tho..lol

brentwood..what i was told their qb trew 3 picks last week and didnt look to hott..but the fullback was a beast and one heck of a athleate on d..i expect brentwood to have their team prepared for the game like always and have a solid football team..goodluck bruins..

players of the game on d..definatly shadrake causing 2 fumbles..one on arod and the one i forgot which reciver but he knocked it lose then picked it up..he is a stud in the middle..instincts are the best from around the region..matt rofrano also had a heck of a game..55..he was in on almost every run play and had pressure alot on arod to make him scramble and throm some balls when his feet weernt set..hendricks played a great game aginst chris..shut him down to one catch..but about our dbs being the weakest spot..i believe we held lavergne a prodominate passing team to 0 yrds passing in the first half..so great job to coach pip for getting the dbs in shape for the game..

about horont catch on the sideline..look at the tape and CLEARLY the ball comes lose when he hits the ground..he never had contol of it..announcers said it too..camera man did a good job all night..i dk if yall saw it but when rod caught his cramp and the camera got a close in on it..MAN..but lavergne will b fine..our oline will decide our season..if they play like they did friday nite..i dont believe anyone can stop us..especially giving sonny 5+ seconds to pick apart a d and opening holes...good luck to lavergne tho..

he was never hurt..he jus had a cramp and we were fortunate enough to have a good lead on a great team and had players step up and take his roll..he will b more tahn ready!!
