I know the first game was 2-0 FCS, when do these two teams play again? I think the second game was rained out so what is the make up date?

Devil...aren't you the person that said Westmoreland should not have even made the trip to Chatt.? Or were you the person picking them to get beat by 25? Besides that, Jackson County isn't "dropping down", they have already "dropped." Their season seems to be...over.

I don't know anything about CPA so I won't make a prediction. Has anyone seen both of these teams play? Westmoreland is very good...great at times. But they are going to have to play more consistent, they have to win 3 in a row now.

Act like they have been there before? What do you expect from a team who plays freshman 40% of the time, gets beat in Region, travels four hours to Chatt. to play a team with the MJ of girls basketball, gets picked to lose by at least 25, and WINS on a last second three? That isn't everyday material. Good job Westmoreland.

It wouldn't have mattered whether Pickett took Westmoreland lightly last year or not. There was no question that Westmoreland was more talented that Pickett last year. It wasn't a case of over-looking, it was a case of being outmatched.

Westmoreland has a tendency to play down to their opponents level as they Wednesday night against FCS. But, they aren't 14-0 in district play for nothing. Westmoreland by 10.

I think it is pretty safe to say that someone out of Region 3 or 4 will win it all. Temple, Pickett, and Westmoreland are the three best teams in the state. That sub-state matchup will be for the championship.

I hope Pickett goes ahead and plans for a home sub-state game. Print the tickets. Make sure Bailey is focusing on where to play college ball.

Westmoreland played very well once again last night...beating FC by 17. The JV played very well, played most of the fourth quarter. If the guys keep playing like this, a home sub-state game is likely.

You are picking Westmoreland or you are saying Westmoreland is hosting Regions?

Yea tell me about it. But what is it about RBS...in my opinion, they aren't THAT good. Westmoreland went to RBS and beat them by 20+. Maybe I should start a "RBS 2005 State Champs" thread.

Westmoreland could probably use a loss to come down off of their high before going into the tourneys, but I don't think it will happen. Westmoreland by 15.

They played decent the whole game until the fourth. It was a mix between horrible play by us and great shooting by them. No the streak began in AA.

Probably around 35 consecutive home win streak ended tonight in Westmoreland by the RBS Bulldogs. That is the second time the Eagles have lost to them this year....hope they don't have to meet up with the Bulldogs again, they may have their number.

Great job to the JV in the second half. Nice dunks by Parker, and lots, and lots of threes by Perry and Custer.

Congrats...24 against Mt. Juliet Christian...go ahead and start engraving his name for that one. We will see who gets the award at the end of the season. I can tell you one thing, I am probably one of the few people from Westmoreland worrying about this award. I can promise you Custer, Perry, or Parker will not be worried about it. That one in the loss column is all they are worried about maintaining. But regardless of whether they are worried about it or not, I have a feeling most of the district awards will be staying in Westmoreland, as they have the past several years, not on "the mountain."

A lot of times it isn't a matter of having a good coach, it is whether or not you can get the kids in the school to play. Cannon County obviously does not have that. Although, this is something a coach can effect. 5 years would be a push to reverse the trend of no one wanting to play football.

Exactly...helped Westmoreland to an undefeated district season. MVP doesn't mean who gets doubled and tripled the most...it means who is most valuable to their team.
