No way Elder is faster than Hurd. I've watched them both in person, and Elder just seems faster and quicker because he is smaller. I guarantee Hurd runs a faster 40 and is faster on field with the pads on. With that said, Elder is a D1 talent and will probably get red-shirted and plenty of playing time once he finally gets on the field on the collegiate level.

Ptown should have won this game. Without a doubt, Beech once again blows out WC. I think Crabtree lets Hurd loose on this one and projects him to the #1 overall recruit in the nation. 400 yards and 6 scores.

Closer than expected, but when it came down to it, the Does just got worn down, and finally let Hurd loose for the 60 yard score. I think he finished with 260 yards and 4 TD's. (yawn)

Once again, beech will score as many as they want in the first half--depending on how many carries (td's) Crabtree wants to give to Hurd. Go ahead Hville faithful, talk about stacking the box and keying on Hurd, and watch him run through every tackler in his path. Go ahead and talk about the big win over a down Riverdale team, and watch Jalen score 4 td's in the first two quarters and then sit the final two quarters. Beech 48 Hville 1

Anyone who thinks anyone is even CLOSE to Hurd is a dimwit. He is far and away the best player in the state, and without a doubt a top 10 player in the nation. He's leading the nation in rushing and has only played the first half in 4 games this year.

Every team since week 0 have been saying they are going to send 11 at Hurd, and you see where it's gotten them. This game gets ugly in a hurry.
