Hightower has a lot of respect and trust for his offensive line and thats what makes him a good player. He respects them and they in return want to protect him and see that he gets the yards. There are several players on that o line that have played together since pee wee. They know what the other one is thinking and cover for each other. There not only teammates but friends.

All I can say is all the teams in our region wish Marshall Co. was a sinking ship. Our football program is in no way sinking. These young men are working hard everyday and plan on having a WINNING 2006 football season. Marshall Co. will see the playoffs again in 2006. So lets stop bashing the Marshall Co. football program because it will take a whole lot more than that to sink this ship.

Word here is Coach Johnson. But all is subject to change just like Tennessee weather. I guess we will have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Marshall Co. has alot of junior talent that stepped up this year as sophmores. Can't wait for 2006 season to begin!!!

Very true. I read on another thread that said over 30 flags where thrown in the Creek Wood -Giles Co game last Friday night. I can only imagine the number that will be thrown this Friday. Marshall Co. seems to attract those yellow hankies.

Speaking of someone shooting their mouth off. I was lucky enough to be behind a car load of Cheatham co. cheerleaders leaving the football field friday night. I was shocked at the mouth they had on them hanging out the windows of the car yelling things that was very unlady like not to memtion unsportsman like. This wasn't a one time thing they did it all the way out of the field, down white drive and even continued as they went the main highway to the interstate. I would have thought the adult in the car would have stopped them but I guess thats what I get for thinking. So before we throw stones at someone running their mouth check your own side Cheatham co.

Just like Marshall Co. their head coach hasn't been there a year yet and their already wanting to replace him. MC always expects to win and when they don't they want to blame somebody. Maybe they should look at this year as a rebuilding year not the end of a coach's career.

Because 84 champ he is apparently happy with all his coaches even if the aren't doing a good job. Just look at the offense coach the only reason he looks good on paper is the talent of the recievers and running backs. Just look at his line it defiantly has trouble blocking but does he change it NO. So just live with it and go on. .

Rumor has it Marshal Co. lost 2 middle linebackers in the last 2 days. This should make for an interesting game come Friday.

I can not believe that a local person would get on here and actually talk about their own football team looking like clowns. Do you not think that kids from this football team get on here and see what people are saying. It's bad enough when people from other areas say bad stuff but when your own local town "folks" are being jerks its a little hard to sallow.

Why do you keep referring to coach G last time I checked he didn't hold a head coaching postion on the team.
