Just wanted to say "Way To Go Falcons!" That was a good game Friday night & boy what a great interception by 67 Lane Horton! You guys played & hung tough. Well, it's time to get fired up for the last game of the season & boy what a game that will be. What the sweet smell of victory to come home with the trophy & especailly from their field. You've got it in you so use it! Go get em Falcons we'll be cheering while your scalping those Chiefs! Best of Game on Friday!

Hey Falcons! Just wanted to say that this Friday is a milestone in some of your lives with it being Senior night & I would like to wish you all the best in your futures & we'll sure miss you! Take what you've learned all of these years & put it to good use & beat Daniel Boone! "All" of you need to remember that there isn't an "I" in Team so go out there as a TEAM & push through to the goal! Keep heads & momentum up with these next 3 games & come out on top! Go back into time & remember the story that either mom or your kindergarten teacher read you about the little engine that could. Think of yourselves as an engine & roll right over your opponents! Don't mean to sound giddy but I myself are very proud of you & want nothing more than to see you & especially the Seniors finish out this season with "W's". You can do it if you believe in yourself & the man next to you! Put those hits on them, & open up the gap to let the running man through! Previous losses are to be taken as a learning experience & a preparation time so come Friday let's get out there & bring home another "W"!!! Remember that Coach Rider believes in you or he wouldn't be here & doing what he does for you so make him proud! But, don't do it just for him do for each one of you that make up our Falcon Pride team! You've got it in you don't be afraid to use it & you sure don't want to make all of these misconstrued observers right. Prove everyone wrong that has the jaw jacking capability & win win!!!

See all this time we've all coaches included have been trying to tell you that you had it in you. Don't let the negative slip in & take control of the "W" out there waiting for you to grab come Friday with the Devils. Team played a very good game Friday against Crockett & you can still get to the playoffs if you listen, practice with heart, pride & really want this. Take a look in the stands & you'll see that you've got alot of people that believe & have faith in you guys so take that & fill up on it & turn it into steam like a locomotive & run right over those devils & leave them wondering what "hit" them. It's real easy for us fans to sit in the stands & tell what can, should & could be or been but we know that it has to come from you the "Volunteer Falcon Team" don't let records defeat you go into this game with the heart, mind & determination that everyone can be beat & new records can be made. Beat the devils! Go FALCONS!!!

It's obvious that you are not well educated because if you were then you'd know that people like you are usually always someone who's not made it in this sport & doesn't want to see anyone else to do so. If you don't like what is talked about in our thread then stay out! As for all of your no non-sense remarks we're proud of our school, faculty, & especially our athletic programs. Maybe you didn't like your job or maybe you're even one of the old coaching staff that didn't know beans about coaching a football team. This football team has been in need of a good coaching staff that knew football & had the right goals & morals to guide our young men into victory. They too are human so therefore they will stumble but that doesn't mean that they will be trashed. Everyone is excited with our coaching staff change because young men have been given back the drive for the game & if that bothers you then the coaches have really been doing their job. Intimidation seems to be eaten at you or maybe even the green eyed monster called jealousy. So, like it or not the Falcons are going to be getting their share of "W's" so take that to the bank & if this bothers you then I guess you should find another sport!!!Go Falcons reap some revenge tonight!!!

Dick-ie Fan open your eyes! There's somethings that we Falcon supporters don't like or want in our thread & that's the likes of you! If obviously you could see then you'd seen that North didn't walk all over our birds they made them really work for their "W" & we knew going into the MW game that we were up against a tough team & yet our young men played with heart & pride something that some know absolutely nothing about. When the "W"'s come where will you be? The #'s that's been called is the #1 in hard work, discipline, pride & teamwork. What's your number or do you even have the capability to count past zero because a zero is negative & you don't even fit the quota for that position. If you're not here to ride the Falcon Train then you had best jump off & go back to the whole that you came out of. Remember This: Volunteer Falcons like the United States will Rise Again!!!! Our Falcons have alot to show what do you have? G-O F-A-L-C-O-N-S!

Falcons, you played a really good game Friday & you gave it your all that's all is asked of you. Now, time to get out those "W's". Hey did anyone happen to see the play by that #54 in the last of the game? Didn't he stop his man? Can't no one say that this year's Falcons aren't playing ball. Update on web cast of ball games. Just got off the phone with the new owner & president of WIGN 1550 AM in Bristol, VA & he just bought former WETB which is 5000 watts & building up to 15000 - 20000 watts soon. This will blanket this area according to him & he's considering airing them on the radio once things get done he's going to talk with Jimmy Whalen tomorrow. So, keep your fingers crossed. Updates will come as they are given.

As of right now there's no station available to air the games or web play. The station manager @ WMCH AM is trying to work out the web play. Don't have a date. WEYE does announce events for the Falcons & they did try to fit the games in but couldn't air them on WEYE for some reason. Keep fingers crossed hopefully a station will come along.

DanDD, Why is it that we're the only ones talking anything about this year's Falcons? Last year there was a whole lot more talk going on. Have people lost interest? I sure hope not because that would be a shame & if so then I guess that would be there loss.

thanks for helping get the crazy arguing amongst ourselves out of the way & apology accepted. I don't do well with predictions but if I were a betting man I'd say that it will be closer than expected by some & that MW is a good team but like Thursday night I don't think that they'll be able to come in & just take over our Falcons. Who knows it's been proven before that the bigger better predicted teams have fallen before & Friday just might be the night for their fall. So, really all I've got to say is "GO FALCONS"!

I don't know why you'd think that you know who I am or why you'd even care but that doesn't matter. I wasn't trashing you like you said before I was giving my opinion on the subject of how our "Team" looks & I just didn't agree with what you had to say about them. Nothing was being sugar coated about them at all just stating facts & trying to boost & keep moral up for all "Team" included. This is a discussion forum for the Volunteer Falcons & discussion it should be not negativity flying all over the place. That needs to be thrown out the door with the old ways so that this team & staff can move forward with a whole new attitude & pride. As I stated to be a true fan you've got to be for them & supportive through "win or lose" By the way don't think that you'll ever have to worry about raking the football field. Keep wondering though who I am because I can promise you that you don't know me & for a little bit of information I'm not originally from here but have been now for several years & do have a kid @ VHS. Don't want any unfriendly business just want everyone to be a supporter of our VHS Falcons. By the way the popcorn comment was just a statement not a true quote. Don't know why you took such offense to it.
