Too bad Columbia did the ole chokeroo against Shelbyville, but this is still a huge game for both squads no doubt. I like Giles Co. but it will be fairly close and I'd look for either Wadele, Tyler Smith or Eric Howard to come up with a big shot to seal the win. Giles - 65 Columbia - 60

I dunno, but I really hope Giles County wins this game big time. Last time Lawrence Co. players were trying to take out Tyler's legs whenever he went up for a dunk, maybe they'll show a little bit more class and not try and do anything dumb like that. As far as the Columbia game is concerned, that has no place in my mind. I'm just worried about coming out of Lawrenceburg with a win, and closing out this _6_ game road trip the right way.

Giles Co. played one of its worst games of the season. A better team would have probably beat the Cats on this night, but they came out of Lewisburg with a win, and I for one am proud to say that. The officiating was very very shaky for both sides it seemed, but there were some really questionable calls. Shay Shannon was called for a technical with 4 ticks left in the game and the outcome already decided and I still dont know why it was called.

Tyler is the only basketball player I've ever seen post a message on CoachT from Giles Co. high school. Guess again Lewisfan?

To reiterate, Giles Co. isn't a one man show. That's what everyone fails to realize. Giles Co. has immense talent, it's just that no one has stepped up to challenge them recently.

Well Barett must have had a bad day because he was the fan who was trying to attack one of our fans after the game before Coach Holt luckily grabbed him and kindly directed him to a Loretto official. The kid who hit Barett is the real class act. Josh Haney is the classiest guy I know who would never stoop that low as to intentionally try and hurt someone. Believe me please when I tell you this.

Mr. CoachT please make the trip to Pulaski on February 7th to see the Columbia Lions take on the Giles County Bobcats. Please?!?!

How did the fans show bad sportsmanship? It's not like we were the ones telling Coach Holt to leave Tyler in. Also, we're not a one man show. We have about 7-8 LEGIT scoring threats. Shay Shannon when he's hot will shoot the lights out, as will Travis Gentry. We don't care who does the scoring and rebounding as long as it's a win. That's what the ***BENCH MOB*** is for.

Giles County has showed up ready to play for every game this season (you could argue about Columbia game however) and have only lost twice to two excellent opponents. (Columbia and Bob Jones High in Huntsville a 6A school) Right now, the Cats are for the most part on cruise control until the rematch with Columbia at home on the 7th of February. Marshall Co. seriously scares me though because of the fact that this is a big rivalry game and we all know how teams step up against their rivals.

To even sugguest that LeBron should go to college is ridiculous! He's a man amongst boys and clearly ready for the bump and grind of the NBA. I'm wishing him the best.

Yeah, very sloppy game but Eric Howard should get SERIOUS looks from D-1 colleges (mid-majors anyone) this kid can flat out pick your pocket. He's one of the quickest guys I've ever seen and to be of small stature, he's pretty buff. Also Brandon, do you have MSN or AIM?

First topic was deleted so to recap...Giles beats Loretto 70-41 in a VERY sloppy and dirty game. Lots of credit to Loretto who played very well on their home floor, but really just doesnt have the firepower to hang with Giles Co. They may make some noise amongst the other teams in the district come tourney time, and if you're lucky may get another crack at the Bobcats! Good game Mustangs.

I'll admit I didn't see all of the game, I came mostly just for the guys game, but I see this as a great win for the Lady Mustangs, but not that big of a loss for the Lady Cats.

I got news. If things go the way they're going HALF of Tennessee will be at Giles County on February 7th when tentative 20-1 Columbia travels to face tentative 16-1 (According to CoachT) Giles County. This game may be the biggest taste of a state tournament game in a regular season game all year. And the Bobcats cheering section will try and become the 6th man as only the Bobcats fans can do.
