Rockwood used up their timeouts inside a minute to prolong the game....if your going to do that then you may get scored on.... on another note....regardless of everything that has been on this board from both sides lets show a lot of class this friday night. OS and Loudon are both close knit communities that are passionate about our teams and thats fine. lets not let our emotions turn into hate. we've seen what that can do this week (cambell co.) there is more to life than football. support your team and remember this is a game played by kids and when the final horn sounds lets support both sides regardless of the score i'm a loudon fan through and through / i played here and still live here and hopefully will be more involved the next few years. i'm a loudon fan and hope we get a second chance to meet up with alcoa next week (assuming we take care of business this week) on the 91-7 its my understanding Alcoa scored 70pts in the first half and had already called off the dogs / no disrepect to GP but i think you do what ever you can in the first half to get as much of a lead and plenty of momentum for the remainder of the game then motor down if you have to after that point. if you can put 100 points in the board in the first half then you do so good luck to Alcoa and CAK and go Redskins of course!

i agree with both of you....loudon "should" win big but they could easily be overlooking them because of next week's game. Loudon has pretty good depth though and their defense is good enough that even on a bad game they can still keep control I'll go Loudon 27 Wartburg 6 (assuming Loudon shows up ready to go)

Come on man get over it Loudon is better than LC this year Now as for this week...This is more than likely for second place in the region. still a lot of football to be played but I'd say the winner of this game takes 2nd and the loser gets 3rd in the region. What does Polk have (strengths etc)? Loudon's defense is tough and of course the offense rides hawkins shoulders. Recievers are quick also but the quarterback is not the most accurate passer ever.

Dont know much about polk co except their scores from their previous games. Are they big, fast etc? Hopefully loudon will rebound from last weeks loss

anyway, back to the thread. If Alcoa plays their best they beat anyone in the state in 2A. If they game is close though (as in they dont jump out to a quick start) maybe they get rattled and upset. On Alcoa's coach Reid, and this is not a shot at him becuase I know nothing about him, but I keep hearing he's a "good" coach only because he's loaded with talent. Is that the case or is he really a good coach?

I hope thats not the case either. Loudon got beat last year becuase LC beat them no other excuse matters. Even if the starters where out there 30 something to 0 is a statement in itself. Dont get me wrong I'm redskin all the way but there is room for excuses. As for tonight I say 13 points or less. I have not seen LC play, is Hightower a speed run or do they try to run up the middle. If the O-line from LC is as big as what I've heard and Hightower spends his time up between the tackles they can probably move the ball against loudon. I think Loudon's defense is fast though so if they try to rely on getting outside Loudon can probably contain him. I still say Loudon pulls out the win

i agree with fan2fan, not all Loudon fans are arrogant. I think sweetwaters run defense is thier weekness which is loudon's strength so I'll go with loudon by 2 touchdowns

since this is lc's first year in 4a i dont think they will overlook a region game for the match up with loudon. although there seems to be a lot of off the field crap to the loudon game i think loudon and lc will meet next week undefeated

although i'm a loudon fan lc should win this one.

i dont have a dog in the fight but I'd like to see red bank win but Central's probably too tough
