  1. its "dip dogs" thank you very much!
  2. meaning, i have no idea what the score will be but i sure hope loudon wins
  3. we've been busy recruiting as for tonight, its no secret, we are down from last year and CAK is probably better than last year. The past two years has saw this game come down to who really wants it the most and who shows up to play. 2008 - Loudon displayed a great game plan and won convincingly. 2009 - CAK was definitely ready for the game and they won convincingly. Hope everyone has a safe trip here, plays and displays a lot class, and has a safe trip back home. As for the score prediction, Loudon 2 CAK 0
  4. I'll have to keep our lucrative contract offers under the table and off of message boards. We have to come up with a better recruiting plan than you all have....you might counter our offer. We'll have to start small like Jerry McGuire and weed the Bob Sugar's out of here. On a serious note...how many senior starters does Alcoa have and what is coming up behind them? Will you be reloaded again next year or is there a possible "down year" in sight?
  5. Loudon lost twice to Alcoa last year. 21-0 the first time and 21-3 the second go around. I dont think either game was a fluke, especially the second game when it was 14-3 in the 4th and Loudon had the ball. that was last year and moral victories mean nothing. Alcoa also needs to chip on their shoulder or motivation to prove anything. Alcoa is stacked again as usual and Loudon is down from last year. I am certain they (Loudon) will not come out and simply roll over and play dead but i'm just not sure they will or can match up with that much talent. I'll go with Loudon 7-6 because i just cant pick against them. APB, since you brought up the recruiting word, what are the best neighborhoods to get talent out of in Blount Co. I figure since we'll be over that way friday night we'll try to pull some of your up and coming superstars out.
  6. I think LC is a little better this year than last and Loudon might be down a little from last year. I dont think you ever anticipate one team or the other cruising in this one because most of the time it gets down to who wants it the most. I'll take the big red by 2 td's.
  7. i agree, i was looking forward to see what kind of pictures he would come up with for this one. As for the game...leading up to it is the same as always. Alcoa is the favorite and rightly should be. Loudon will need a complete game (as they almost had the first time this year) and will need to capitalize on every Alcoa miscue. Looking forward to the trip and hoping for the upset
  8. good to see all the posts on this one. here is my 3.5 cents worth. If Loudon plays up to their potential I'll go with Loudon. The defense is very good as is the offense. Depth would be a concern because a lot of guys go both ways. However, against Bledsoe (NO I'M NOT COMPARING POLK TO BLEDSOE) a lot of guys rotated in and out before he called of the dogs in the 3rd quarter so hopefully that got some guys some good reps. Should be a great high school football playoff game. Loudon 23 Polk 20
  9. CAK 31- CENTRAL 20 Hadnt seen MC this year so i'm just going off seeing CAK and only Central's scores. Hopefully a good ball game and God bless both teams.
  10. Good deal, we fully expect a good ball game. We'll see you tomorrow night and we'll be prepared And, its Loudon not louden
  11. "over confident Loudon folks"....where is that in this thread????' I only saw a couple of predictions and they were from "non-Loudon" fans. I am sure the Redskins will show up confident but certainly not over looking Bledsoe. Looking forward to the trip down there friday and sorry to hear bout the stadium. I'll go with Loudon 20-14.
  12. Now thats funny, i dont care who you are
  13. I think CAK is better this year and was impressed with the defense earlier this year. However, Alcoa is still ALCOA so i'm going with a 30ish to 14ish score for friday night for the naders. God bless both teams and hope we can meet again in the playoffs
  14. Loudon 42-7 / hope both teams come out of this one injury free
  15. Any idea why they are playing tonight instead of this past Saturday? Looks like playing tonight makes a short week for both teams... just curious
  16. Great job tonight by the big red and congrats to both teams on good effort. Loudon showed lots of heart by not quitting and stiffening up on defense several times. Way to bounce back, lets keep it going!
  17. Sounds like a good game. Loudon can be very physical. Decent size and speed. Typically will run right at the defense and mix in a few short passes. Defense has played good all year. Hopefully both teams show up friday night and neither suffers any injuries
  18. Should be interesting to see how loudon responds after last week. Their play against Alcoa this year was excellent for 3 quarters (alcoa scored twice in the 3rd qtr but the rest of the game was pretty even). Against CAK last week, however, they came out flat and could never get anything going offensively. I think CAK was better than anticipated and Loudon couldnt overcome costly mistakes and for the most part didnt look like themselves. Hopefully we can get back on track this week and come out with W What can the fans expect to see from BC? do they run or throw more? Any players of interest to watch for?
  19. Amen on blessing both teams. No injuries to anyone would be a nice thing. I agree that Loudon winning last year was not a "fluke", but the manner in which CAK played was. Loudon was good, but CAK played Boyd, Webb & Alcoa twice, and at least represented themselves fairly well. I think we can agree that those 3 teams were as good or better than the Redskins. Last year at Loudon the Warriors embarrassed themselves. I can agree with you also about the 21 pts or less for the winner tonight. Loudon has traditionally had a good defense and this CAK defense is pretty good themselves. Come hungry, eat often, or my tuition may increase again! ha. Have a safe trip. well that was last year...we'll just agree to disagree...what matters is tonight anyway i have no idea about the flu bug affecting or not affecting our team. i know many of the elemetary schools are seeing a lot of absences but i'm not sure about the high school
  20. well its finally here...God bless both teams tonight i dont think last years game was a fluke. Loudon had a good game plan offensively and defensively and won the game. moving on to this year, i think the winner will score 21 or less. Loudon's defensive is pretty solid and the offense likes to chew up the clock. I have not saw CAK but i would imagine a lot of what they are good at (good athletes, good passes and routes, etc). Looking forward to a great game tonight and the hamburgers
